"Mum! This one!" The little boy cheered. "Okay." She smiled. I sighed.

"I'm sorry, Bud. This one's already sold. One of my friends forgot to put the sign up. But if you want one of his brothers or sisters, they're over there." My head snapped up at the voice. Elle.

The boy dragged his mum over to some labs that were most definitely not Lucky's siblings. "Sold?" I asked. Her head snapped to me. "You!" She smiled. "Who bought him?" I asked, knitting my eyebrows. "Me."

"You did?" I asked. She nodded. "If you weren't going to take him, I was. I don't really trust anybody with him. But you saw him before I could actually claim him. You're welcome to visit him though. I just knew your roommates were against him."

"If that's your way of saying you feel guilty, don't. I told you to keep him up for grabs." I laughed. She smiled, "You can still visit him though."

I rose an eyebrow, "How?" She grabbed my hand, using her pen to write something on it. I looked down to see her number and smiled. "Whenever you want to see him, I'll text you the address."

"By the way Elle, my name's Calum." I winked. She blushed, "I know. I heard your friend call you that the other day."

"And thank you. For allowing me to see Lucky even though I'm a complete stranger." I smiled. "You're welcome, Stranger." She nodded. She then took notice of how long she's been standing here. "I've got to get back! I'm sorry!"

"That's okay. I'll text you later, Elle." I waved. She smiled, "Okay."

I got home and plopped on the couch next to Ashton. "Where have you been?" He asked. "Out." I shrugged, changing the channel. "I was watching that!" He snatched the remote back.

"Nobody cares about the nutrition of bananas!" I snatched it back, "I wanna watch Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!"

"Ninja Turtles!" Michael exclaimed, jumping over the couch. I'm still ignoring him, if you were wondering.

Ashton kept blabbering about bananas, and Michael would back me up, but I didn't acknowledge him.

"Cal, you can't keep ignoring me over a dog." Michael said. I shrugged and watch the stupid show about bananas. "Calum." Michael sighed. I continued to watch the television.

"Fine. Get the dog. I don't care." He huffed. "It's too late. Thanks." I said harshly, leaving the room.

That's when I ran into Luke. "Woah! You okay?" He asked. "Why would you care? You're pissed at me for nothing!"

He laughed. He freaking laughed, "I'm not mad." He held his grip on my arms. "Yeah? Well I am. Not at you though." I said, crossing my arms. He let me go. "My friend Bella just got a dog. You wanna go with me to see her?" He asked.

"Nah, it's okay. I'm going to play around on my bass a bit. You go ahead though." I shrugged, walking past him.

I picked my bass up from where it sat in the corner of the room. That's when I noticed the number on my hand. I smiled, grabbing my phone.

Me: Hey :)

Elle: Who's this?

Me: xD Calum.

Elle: Oh! Hey, what's up? :)

Me: Just pissed off at my roommate. Needed to get my mind off of it.

Elle: Oh. :( Well, I can talk for a few. I have a friend coming over though.

Me: Oh, that's okay. I'll let you go. Talk to you later, Elle. :)
