Dante's P.O.V.
I walked into the room to hear Ultimate by Denzel Curry blasting from a set of speakers in the corner of the room. I looked around to see Ember dancing in the corner. I walked over to her and tapped her shoulder. She turned around and smiled, "Oh it's you Dante." I thought about what Jacob had told me and I blushed. She raised an eyebrow at me and then went to turn off her music. "You didn't have to turn it off you know, I actually like the song." Do I really have feelings for Ember? Is it possible? I looked at her again, her flowing orange hair and her beautiful eyes....NO! Stop yourself boy! You are an ASSASSIN. A-S-S-A-S-S-I-N. You cannot be.... "Dante?" Embers voice snapped me out of my thoughts. She threw a cookie at me, with my amazing reflexes I caught the cookie and then looked at it. "I made some for you and Jacob when you came back, seeing that he's not here, you and I can share them." I bit it and smiled. This cookie is so good, it tastes like someone broke off a piece of heaven, put it in a baking pan, and turned it into a cookie. "How does it taste?" Ember asked. "Delicious!" I exclaimed taking 3 more, "Hey, leave some for me." She said giggling. Ember grabbed the entire tray of cookies and jogged away. "You won't get away with this you fiend!" I yelled with mock anger as I chased her into the bedroom. She put the cookies on the beside table and turned on the television, then she blocked the tray with her body, "You will never get these cookies!" She exclaimed still giggling. "Oh really?" I jumped on her and started tickling her, "Those cookies will be mine!" She was laughing like crazy now, so I grabbed the cookies and put them on my lap. "Let's share like we planned to." I said smirking. We decided to watch a movie and eat cookies, in about 10 minutes all the cookies were gone. Halfway through the movie I felt myself falling asleep, I gave up and let the darkness take me.
Ember's P.O.V.
When the movie finished, I looked to my left and saw that Dante was sleeping. He looks so cute when he's sleeping. My gaze soon traveled from his eyes to his lips. His lips must feel so soft and warm....Soon I found myself leaning in for the kiss, but then Dante's eye shot open and glared at me. I just froze, unsure of what to do, so I just pulled back. The expression in his eye softened and his mouth broke into a smile. My face was probably as red as a tomato. "What're you running for?" he said. Then he quick as lightning he grabbed me, then kissed me. It was full of passion, and love, not the rough kiss I was expecting. Two minutes later he pulled away, we were both panting. "Now tell me what I did to deserve that." I said smirking, "Simple." Dante replied, pulling me in for a hug. "Being the strong, courageous, beautiful Ember I know and love." With that statement, he kissed me and we slowly descended towards the bed.
