Ember's P.O.V.
Did Dante just say what I thought he did? Does he really mean it? His lips feel so soft and warm. But wait, what is this pressure......Oh no....I opened my eye and saw the one and only Jacob looking on at us. His eyes were wide. He looked like he wanted to kill us, but then he spotted the empty cookie tray on the bedside table. "WHAT IS THIS, YOU DIDN'T LEAVE ANY COOKIES FOR ME!??!?!??!?" he roared. At this point Dante looked at Jacob and said: "They're more inside the oven, take as many as you want." "Okay," Jacob said scurrying towards the kitchen. "Well, Ember, what should we do now?" Dante asked sounding kind of annoyed Jacob had ruined the mood. I stroked his hair, "Don't worry about it, we can always pick up where we left off some other time." Dante nodded and sat up. He got out the bed and looked at himself in the mirror. "Oh jeez, I just realized, it's been like  2 years since I last had a haircut." I giggled. "You need a barber Dante." " I realized Ember, but I don't like getting my haircut." Jacob burst into our room balancing cookies on the tip of his index finger. "These cookies are delicious :33." he popped another one into his mouth. "So guys, what should we do for fun?"  "I have an idea, let's go to the park." Dante suggested. "I like the idea." I agreed. We all changed our clothes and headed out to the park. I was wearing skinny jeans, and a white T-shirt, Dante was wearing his usual black sleeves shirt and black pants, with light blue slippers, while Jacob had changed into the spare camo pants, and black T-shirt he brought along with him. When we arrived at the park, we climbed up to the top of a huge tree and watched the sun set. "I wonder what being an Assassin would really be like?" Dante said, "I mean we kill people for money, but there has to be more too it than that." "I dunno, maybe there is, and maybe there isn't, just do what you think is right and you should be fine." Jacob said while drinking the smoothie he had bought. "That's the most intelligent thing I've heard you say yet Jacob." I said smirking. "Shut up." He said looking down at the ground below us blushing. I looked down and saw something strange happening, a girl who seemed to be our age with long, dark brown hair was being harassed by a guy dressed in all black with a mask over his face. I was aiming my bow to help her out but then I saw him fall over and shrivel into green dust. "It can't be..." Jacob's voice was quivering, he was awestruck. "There is only one clan that has the ability to do that." "Which one?" Dante asked. "The Silver Hunters Ally Clan, The Viper Clan." Jacob jumped down from the tree and briskly walked towards the girl with Dante and I hot on his heels. "Greetings Viper." Jacob said, his eyes widened, "Angela?" he said. "The girl looked at Jacob smiling, "It's been a while, hasn't it, Jacob."
"Yes, it has been a while since THAT day." he said scoffing. "Are these your friends?" she asked. "Yes they are, Dante, Ember, meet my child hood partner and accomplice, Angela Viper." he said smiling. "Pleased to meet you, do you guys want to be assassin's as well?" she asked. "Yes they do, in fact we were the only three to make it too the final stage of the exam." Jacob said. Her gaze traveled towards me, "You must be strong then." She said. "You must be tired, traveling so far from home Angela." Jacob said, "Come with us to the room we're renting so you can relax for a while." "I'll go with you guys?" She agreed smiling. As if we all had the same thought we dashed at full speed towards the hot-springs. We jumped through the window leading to our room and landed all in a pile on the floor. "Get your foot out of my face Dante!" Jacob yelled. "What are these soft and squishy things on my face?" Dante asked. I looked down and started blushing furiously. "Dante stop wriggling around!" I hissed. Jacob and Angela burst out laughing. Dante kept squirming and trying to push me off of him, but I couldn't move because Angela was on top of me. "Angela, please get up!" "Oh, you want him to stop?" she said smirking. My cheeks turned an even darker shade of red. "Can't breathe..." Dante said sounding out of breath. "Angela!" I exclaimed. "Alright fine," Angela said. She got, up then I did, then Dante came up gasping for air, and then Jacob started rolling on the floor laughing. "Oh shut it Jacob." Dante huffed."
