I walked over to the car and got in. “ Where are we going?”

“It’s a surprise.” He pulled out of the parking lot and we where on our way. “ What kind of music do you like Ally?” I thought about it for a minute. “ All types, but especially country, 90s, R&B, pop, hip-hop… just anything really.” He laughed and it sounded that smooth golden honey. I smiled back at him.

“ What kind of music do you like?” I asked.

“Well, I like rock mostly, and classical, but I really listen to just about everything.” He replied.

“ What is your favorite color?”

“ Forest Green, like your eyes.” I responded instantly, and then cringed in embarrassment. How could I say that. I really don’t even know him.

“Mine’s silvery blue, like your eyes.” My heart thudded against my chest. Wow, he definitely knew how to impress. The rest of our drive was spent playing twenty question. What’s you favorite drink. Mine’s tea and his is water. What is your favorite flower? Mine’s a daffodil, and his is mistletoe. And on and on it went til we pulled up to a weird building. It looked abandoned, but there were at least fifty cars parked around it. He stopped and said “ Here we are. “ I got out and asked “ Where is here?” All he said was “ You’ll see.” He grabbed my hand and led me to the door, and I was blown away.

We had just walked into the most amazing club I had ever seen. There was a mirrored bar all along one wall, and a grand staircase in the center of a huge dance floor. There was a DJ at the back of the room, and he looked like the Goth girls I saw at school today. I looked around at all the people, and they looked like Wesley Academy students too. “ What is this place? It looks so amazing!”

“ I was hoping you’d like it. It is a club for people that are special like us. Like the students at Wesley Academy.”

“ Wow there are more of you?”

“ No, sweetie. There are tons of US.”

I laughed, and he whisked me onto the dance floor. We danced and danced. Finally I was so tired I couldn’t dance another minute and I asked Jamie if I could sit down for a minute. He laughed and set me down on a bench and left to go get me a drink. As I was setting there fanning myself the DJ walked over and sat down next to me. “ Hey, I’m Demitri.” He held out his hand. I shook it, and was startled to find it icy cold. “ Hello, I’m Ally.” He sneered for a second and then smiled.“ Nice to meet you Ally. How are you doing at Wesley Academy.” Who was this guy? How did he know I was a student at Wesley Academy. “ I know a great many things Ally, and seems our time together has expired for now. I will see you again soon.” He picked up my hand kissed it, and then he was gone. Wow, He was giving me the heebe jeebes. Jamie came and sat down where Demitri had just left and handed me a drink. I took it from him, thanked him, and smiled.

“ It has some alcohol in it.” he warned, but after that creepy incounter I didn’t care, and downed it in just a few seconds. “ Woah!“ He said tipping the glass back down. “If you drink it that quickly you definitely won’t be able to go to class tonight.” I laughed. “ Sorry, I didn’t realize I had class tonight.”

“ Yeah, maybe we should be leaving so you aren’t late.” “ Don’t you have class too.” I asked confused.

He looked like he wanted to tell me something and then thought better of it, “ No, and kind of yes. I will explain later. For now, We should probably just get you home. You need to get the rest of the stuff out of your dorm tonight, and I need to send a letter to the headmistress explaining the circumstances. “ Okay, but you definitely better explain later.” I gave him a you-better-keep-you-promise-mister look. Then he laughed his delicious laugh once more, took my hand, and we went home.
