2. English with Mr. Edwards

I entered Mr. Edwards room, and boy was I surprised. It was a huge auditorium. There were hundreds of chairs and a long stage complete with red velvet curtains. It was incredible. Then, I noticed something strange. Even though there were many chairs, there was only a handful of students, and I mean that literally there were five. I walked over to a chair a few feet away form them when out of nowhere I heard a voice.

" Nice of you to finally join us Ms. McClain. "

I whipped around and saw to my surprise a very uh... short, old man looking at me from off of the stage. He couldn't have been more than 3 feet tall! " Yeah, I'm sorry about that you see.."

" Yes, yes. I understand. Just don't let it happen again. So as I way saying, now that Ms. McClain has joined us, this year is going to be very important for your development of basic English skills that I believe you all are most likely lacking. We will start with Homer...."

I looked around at the other students, and began to notice some very odd things. For one, they were all girls, which while not entirely strange, just seemed kind of off. They also looked a lot alike. They were all super pale. There eyes looked almost...tired, like they hadn't slept in days.

" Ms. McClain! Did you here me? I asked if you had read any of our required coursework."

" Sorry Mr. Edwards. I didn't here you and yes, I do believe I have read everything you mentioned actually." He looked at me strangely then almost with I don't know...pride.

" Good, good. It is good to know at least some students take learning to heart."

The girls all turned to me and I do believe if looks could kill I would be dead. Oh no, just what I need, more enemies.

" That is all. You are dismissed. I only request that you all have at least one of the assigned readings done by nest class. Thank you."

And with that, he was gone. I turned to look at the Goth girls, but they too were gone. Weird. I took out my schedule. Hmmm... Calculus 2nd block. Government 3rd block. Astronomy 4th block. Free Period 5th block. Skills Development 6th and 7th block. I wonder what skills development is? Astronomy sounds pretty cool. I wonder who teaches that? *BRING* Oh crap. I grab my bag and ran out into the hall, and into...

*Scream*
