"Hey guys, sorry I'm late," Andrew, Luke's dad, said walking into the kitchen where Luke, Michael and Luke's mom were eating. "Oh, Michael's here."

Everyone looked up at him.

"You're Michael right?" Andrew asked.

Michael swallowed his bite and nodded, standing up.

"This is Andrew, Luke's dad," Liz introduced.

Michael held out his hand to shake his. "Hi, Andrew."

Luke's dad glanced at Michael and then at Luke who was clearly red. His eyes landed on Michael again.

"I prefer Mr. Hemmings," Andrew said with a slightly smile.

Liz rolled her eyes, "honey," she warned.

He ignored his wife and kept looking at Michael. Michael bit his lip slightly.

"Mr. Hemmings, my bad," Michael apologised and sat back down to finish his dinner.

Andrew joined them and Michael was tense the rest of dinner. He still wasn't sure if Luke's dad was being serious or not with the whole Mr. Hemmings thing or not. Luke's dad didn't look like a frightening guy at all, but Michael couldn't help but be terrified of him. This is the first time Michael has been frightened by someone's dad, ever.

They eventually finished supper and Luke quickly got up the second he finished his plate, knowing Michael was nervous. He took Michael's plate from him and hurried to the kitchen, Michael followed.

"Sorry about that, I swear my dad's not a bad guy," Luke chuckled slightly.

"It's alright," Michael smiled.

Liz walked into the kitchen with her plate. "If you boys want to have a fire, feel free to."

Michael looked at Luke and Luke looked at Michael. "Sure," they said in sync.

Luke walked out to the backward and Michael followed closely behind. Luke started collecting the firewood and put it together in a teepee shape in the firepit.

"You know how to make a fire?" Michael asked.

Luke's mouth went agape as he lit the fire, lighting it up. "What's that supposed to mean?"

"Well, making a fire is a pretty manly job," Michael smirked.

Luke stood up straight. "Well, manly is my middle name, check out these biceps."

Luke flexed and Michael chuckled. "Damn, their huge!" Michael walked to Luke and squeezed his tiny arm.

Luke squealed and pulled away. "That tickles.

"Oh, so 'Manly is my middle name' is ticklish?" Michael smirked.

Luke crossed his arms. "You're mean."

Luke took a seat in the grass and Michael sat next to him. "A little, but you're cute when you're upset."

Luke looked down. Michael bumped his arm into Luke. Luke smiled to himself.

"Wanna play twenty one questions?" Michael asked.

"Sure, you start," Luke shrugged and looked at the fire.

"Hmm, alright. If you could go to any concert, who would you go see?" Michael asked.

"Uhm, damn, probably Green Day," Luke shrugged. "If you could live anywhere in the world where would you live?"

Michael thought for a minute. "Somewhere nice, somewhere pretty, but somewhere I could raise a family."

Luke nodded and smiled.

"What is one personal goal of yours?" Michael asked.

"I want to get into music," Luke answered. "According to your last answer, how many kids do you want?"

"Three, easily." Michael answered. "Favourite food?"

"Turkey burgers, hands down." Luke chuckled. "How old were you when you had your first kiss."

"Hmm," Michael thought first. "Twelve I think."

Luke nodded.

"How old were you?" Michael asked.

Luke looked down. "I can't answer that."

"Why not? Twelve is young, any older is probably better," Michael said.

Luke looked at Michael. "No, I physically can't answer that. It hasn't happened."

Michael got quiet. "Wait, really?"

Luke nodded. Michael nodded slowly, honestly not knowing why. This made Michael like Luke a lot more and he did not know why. Maybe he wanted to be Luke's first kiss or maybe he just thought it was cute.

Michael blinked, realizing he was staring at Luke for a little too long. He got worried thinking Luke was thinking Michael was judging him but he was way wrong. Luke had done the glance at the lips and then back at the eyes bit.

"Maybe.. Maybe I could change that answer," Michael whispered, leaning his head closer.

Luke leaned his head forward too. "Okay.."

And then it happened. As cliche it sounds, time froze for both of them. Luke knew first kisses weren't gonna be amazing, but he didn't care if the it wasn't amazing because the moment itself was amazing. He was literally kissing the man of his dreams. A model, a lingerie model that he happened to find online. And then it was over too soon.

Luke breathed. Michael blinked and couldn't help but smile. Luke smiled as well and shyly looked down. It wasn't for long because Luke looked up again and met the boy's eyes again. And that was the moment Luke realized it.

Michael had really pretty eyes.
