"You're what? What fuck man I trusted you with my sister! First she nearly DIES just because she couldn't get over you! And now up get her pregnant?!" He yelled at the top of his lungs. I felt tears prick in the corners of my eyes. I knew it. I knew it was a bad idea. Just a terrible, terrible idea.

"Ian please listen!" I countered back at him, but I sounded feeble compared to him.

He grabbed my shoulders, and forced me to look him in the eye. "No you listen. Do you not understand what this means?"

Okay. I guess I should explain this scenario. But I'm sure you already know what it is. Lets go back just a about an hour, and it will make a little more sense. It's all just a bit jumbled so bear with me.

"Are you really sure you want Ian to know with you two on such fragile grounds?" Toby asked me once more to confirm.

I nodded. "It's like you said. He's my brother. He needs to know. And I mean we told Mel instead and told her not to tell him." I told him. Realization hitting me. I gasped. "I'm a terrible person...."

"No Em. No you're not. You were worried about what he'd think. We don't have to tell him now. But he shouldn't find out how the rest of the world will find out." He said to me, and pulled me to him, rubbing my back soothing me so I wouldn't break down.

"I- I can't keep this from him any longer. I mean I'm showing more then I thought I would at two months..."

Toby chuckled and looked down at me again. "That's because you we're so skinny."He teased. "My mom fixed that though." He laughed at his own little joke.

I stuck my tongue out. "She did. But back on topic it's better he know before he gets suspicious."

Toby sighed. "I know. Are you

sure you wanna do this now?" I nodded. "We'll in that case I'll go find my keys." He informed so I could sit up. After he stood, I flopped back down onto the couch. "Are you stuck perhaps?" He said clearly trying to contain his laughter.

"Oh hush!" I retorted as u struggled into a sitting position, finally making it. "I might have been." I blushed in embarrassment.

"Comon'." He chuckled as he held out his hand to help me up. I giggled at the way he had said 'come on'.

The short car ride to Ian and Melanie's was very quiet, side from my heavy breathing. I glanced a look in Toby's direction and saw he was just as nervous as I was. It was hard to tell with him sometimes, but you could see that his knuckles were white from gripping the steering wheel so tightly. Mechanically he pulled into the drive and cut the engine, looking at me, his hazel eyes pouring out worry. For the both of us. I put my hand on top of his, giving him a reassuring smile, though in sure it was pitiful.

Slowly he unbuckled and walked over to my side if the car to open my door for me. Carefully I stepped out into the mild California winter, making sure not to let go of Toby's hand. Together we walked up to the door and I rang the door bell. When the door opened, a girl with beautiful waves blonde hair, light pink lipstick and gorgeous eye makeup appeared. The women seemed like she was a pin-up from the 60's and 70's, and I knew here like she was some sort of sister. It was Melanie. "Em! It's so great to see you!" She exclaimed and wrapped me in a big hug. "How's the baby?" She smirked in a more hushed tone.

I laughed uneasily. "Fine fine. But I was wondering if Ian was home?" I asked as she greater Toby with an equally big hug.

"Yeah, he is. But I thought you two haven't talked in like three months?" She said as we were motioned into the house.
