Narrator's POV

Year : 1999

It was autumn, but no matter what season it is, L.A is always hot no matter what.

A small boy pressed his forehead on the window as he sees his neighbours play outside under the warm L.A sky.

"Mom, why can't I go out?" He asked while trotting to his mom who was sitting on the rocking chair.

His mom smiled gently at him, "if you do Josh, your baby sister will be lonely" she said while patting her big stomach.

Hearing about his sister somehow made him happy, his grin stretched widely as he jump down and squished himself into the rocking chair and sat himself next to his mom, "hello baby! Do you know me? I'm your older brother! That's oppa to you, O-P-P-A!!!" He screamed near his mother's stomach making the woman laugh heartily at him, "Josh, I think your sister said you're noisy" she chuckled when she saw er little boy's lips jutted forward.

"I'm joking honey, there's no way your little sister's calling you noisy!" She then patted the little boy's head fondly, "what should we name the baby, mom?" He asked while looking up at his mom.

At first, his mom only think, she pursed her lips while trying to think a good name, "I haven't thought about that... what should we name her?" She asked back while looking at the curious Joshua next to her.

Joshua pursed his lips and scrunch his face, he kept that face on until he suddenly shot up, "something that means the sea! Mom, since we live in L.A and there's many seas, let's name her something that meant the sea!" He said his excitedly.

It wasn't a bad suggestion, true what he said and the idea was great, "great idea Josh! Wow, you're so smart!" She praised, Joshua blushed in embarassment but he felt proud of the compliment.

"But she'll need an American name and a Korean name... how about we set her Korean name with your meaning, huh? How about... Jungah? Jung means water and Ah means beautiful... she'll be the most beautiful of all waters there are"

Joshua was more than ecstatic to be the first to hear his sister's name, he giggled and nod, "yes!! Our beautiful baby Jungah!! Wait, but what's her American name?" He asked again once he realized that they had only given her one name.

"American name... American name... how about we pick something out from the bible, Jisoo-ah?" His mother asked.

Joshua scrunched his face while looking at his mother almost as if his mother was weird, "the bible? Mom... seriously?" He whined.

His mother raised an eyebrow at him, "what? Your older sister's name and yours are from the bible too! That was your grandparents' descision and it'll be weird if your little sister's name isn't, right?" She explained while stroking the boy's hair fondly.

Explanations was always the answer to get Joshua to agree on anything, he eventually nodded after thinking about his mom's word briefly.

"We're not gonna name her something like... Ezra o-or or Ezekiel, right?" He asked out of curiosity, "of course not, baby..." his mom said with a small smile.

The answer made Joshua sighed in relief.

"But I might name her Nehemia..."

At the mention of another ridiculously hard name made Joshua snap his head at his mom and shook his head violently.

The elder woman laugh at the sight of his boy almost in the verge of denial of the could-be name of his baby sister.

"I'm joking baby, I'm joking!" She eventually said when Joshua looked like he almost cried, "okay, okay... how about Natasha?" She added.

Joshua rubbed his nose while staring at his mom, "I-I don't remember the name Natasha in the bible..." he muttered while looking at his feet, thinking of the said name to be in the bible or not, "it's from the name Nathaniel, Natasha means God's gift" she smiled while patting her stomach gently.

The latter repeated the name over and over silently, liking the name more and more everytime he mentioned the name.

He then leaned on his mother's stomach with a huge happy grin, "oppa will see you soon, baby Jungah... you will come out any day and oppa will be there to meet you first!"
