Oblitus' POV
Making my way to the throne room in Chaos planet I mentally prep myself for whatever she has to say. Upon arrival to the throne room I bow at my superior. "Lady Chaos, you requested me," I say rising from the bow.
"Yes Oblitus. I have another mission for you." She says putting on her usual straight face showing no emotion.
"Yes Milady. But where exactly is this mission?" I ask preparing myself for the worst. And the worst I got because the words which follow makes my heart sink.
"Well your home planet Earth, Oblitus. As you may know time is faster on this planet than any other. So whilst you've been here for 50,000 years on this planet. It has only been a mere 50 years on Earth. However despite the 50 years that have passed I must warn you that most of your former friends are alive and look the same as they did 50 years ago. I know you aren't eager to see them however you must be professional and complete your mission." She says her dominance and authority laced in her voice. "You have gained immense power as you have climbed the ranks Oblitus, so be careful as we all know what could happen if you lose control again. A lot of mortals could get hurt and considering your mission that is the last thing you'd want to happen. However Oblitus I will give you the option whether or not you will reveal your identity. But do note that people would most likely trust someone with a face." I noted the way her voice softened, it almost sounded motherly.
"Milady I respect your advice but I refuse to reveal myself. It's bad enough that I'm required to help them I don't owe them the knowledge of my identity." I say stiffly yet respectfully.
"Very well Oblitus you are dismissed," exhaustion rang through this statement.
With that I bow then turn to leave and relay the message to the rest of the army. During my walk from the throne room I ponder on my new mission. I wonder if my voice has changed enough so that it is unrecognizable. I hope so, as everyone from the camp knew my voice pretty well and it would be useless to try to camouflage myself and my voice gives up my identity. My arrival at the training room causes everyone to stop their training to face me.
"We have a new mission Oblitus?" questions Radicibus a warrior formerly from a planet called Diaboli.
"Yes Radicibus we do," I respond grimacing.
Sensing my foul mood about the planet another warrior Reliquiae pipes in "Is it Demokitsune again. They were savages and hooligans. Terrible planet and foul people."
"Majority of them were truly foul but not all were. However this is not the place we are to go to." My voice reverberated throughout vast training room. A small sigh escaped as my shoulders slumped finally in both sadness and irritation. "We're going to Planet 1 Earth, Planet of the obnoxious gods and their prideful and power hungry children."
I think from my words it was clear that earth was not my favourite planet in the universe. As I looked to my army I could see a couple of faces pale. Eruit, Incantor and Expiravit mainly. Others like Passionis, Imolavit and Imperium were kind of excited. I guess they missed earth after all these years. The remaining 5 members of my army, Macredina, Radicibus, Reliquiae, Cogitatio and Somnium, just looked confused as to why I was so irritated to go. More so why their usually emotionless leader was sad to go to a planet where they had never been to.
Finally Relinquiae broke the silence asking the question that was on everyone's mind "Why exactly are you sad Oblitus, we haven't been there before have we?"
"You might not have been there but a couple of your fellow army members have." I said vaguely still not really coming to terms with having to return to such a place after so long.
