I woke up feeling tired. I looked at the calendar. It was the 27th. My race is today at three. I got up and went to my dresser, I grabbed a tank top and a pair of jean shorts. I filled two water bottles and got my gym bag ready. I had two water bottles, a towel, extra pair of clothes, my ID card, money, and that's about it. I looked at the time it was 7:00. I was going to ride the bus today at 7:45. My phone buzzed.

I smiled. T will be there. I am so happy. I grabbed my bag and went to the bus station.
"Hey" I greeted TJ and his friends.
"Hey" they all said in unison.
"Are you ready to win?" Asked John.
"Duh, I have practiced and wanted to be in this race. I will not let anyone else win."
"That's my girl" said jack.
"The whole football team will be there to cheer you on."
"Thanks guys" I was happy that they cared.
"No problem"
We all got on the bus. We enter the school grounds and separated in to the groups. I went in early to talk to coach, but when I was about to turn the corner to the gym I over heard a conversation.
"How is it going?" a voice said.
"Ok, I am going to keep hurting her and breaking her and the I will tell the whole school her secret." Said the other voice I new all to well.
"What happened if it won't work?"
"It will work!"
"Ok"
"Now it is time for step three, act sorry."
With that I heard footsteps echo down the other hall. Wow, he was messing with me the whole time. What else was he doi. Did he make a bet? But all I know is to make it back fire.
I went to the coach office.
"Hey" I greeted.
"Hello, are you ready for the big day."
"Yes"
"Alright, you can stay here after 6th period because you need to be down here right before 8th so that can give you time to get ready."
