The next morning I was first to wake up. I was worried about what Trista would have to say when she realized I CHOSE to have a sleepover with Wendy and her squad. What would Austin and Dom, especially Dom, think about me as well? I looked at the clock, 5:30, and decided I should get ready now so I could have some free time later. I went to Wendy's bathroom and got into my magenta hoodie, put a pink bow in my hair, and did mascara. I put on hot-pink checkered slippers and brushed my teeth. I wasn't hungry, for my stomach was in knots, so I checked the time. 6:00. By then Iantha was awake. "Wow, you're ready early, what time did you even wake up?" She asked. "5:30. I wanted to have some extra time to go on my phone," I replied. Iantha nodded. "I should start doing that!" She said. About an hour later, we took the bus. Wendy sat next to Iantha, and Kiara and I took the seat behind them. Thank the Arctic I took acting camp last summer, because if I hadn't it would be very apparent that I felt like I was about to faint. Much too soon, we arrived at school. I departed from the rest of the S.S.P and to my locker, hoping Trista would forget about it all. Boy, was I wrong.

"Serena!" I heard her shout. "Are you okay? What did Wendy tell you to do this time?" Trista asked. I gulped. "I dont wanna talk about it," I said. I grabbed my math books and ran to class. In Math Class, Austin kept asking me if the situation was really ok. I kept saying yes. At lunch, since the S.S.P didnt threaten me, I sat with Trista, Dom, and Austin. "Are you sure you're okay?" Trista asked. I smiled, playing with my flippers. "Just fine!" I said. Austin and Trista were convinced, and I thought Dom was as well. "I'm not stupid." he said. "Pardon?" I asked. "You play with your flippers when you're nervous. Plus, the S.S.P has been looking at our table for the whole lunch period. They didn't threaten you about the sleepover, did they." Dom replied. "W-what are you talking about?" I said, not being able to hode the truth any longer. "Serena!" I heard a voice say. "Why are you sitting over here? Dont you want to sit at the table woth us?" She asked. "Yeah, you said you couldn't wait to talk about the Harry Penguin movie we talked about last night," Kiara said. I looked at my friends. They all looked stunned. Trista got up, and said, "Dom's right. Plus, you probably didnt even tell THEM you were lying about them!" She said, pointing at the S.S.P. "What?" Wendy asked. Trista showed them her texts from me. "Wow, you're a double-crossing dummy," Wendy said, "I dont know why I every wanted to be friends." She walked away, along with Kiara and Iantha. My friends looked at me. I started crying. Austin said, "We shoulve never believed you." Dom stared at me with a heartbroken face. He couldn't even say any words. But worst of all,
Trista walked up to me, heartbroken and stunned, and slapped me across the face. " Go away. I don't ever want to see you're stupid face again," I was crying uncontrolably. I went to the end of the table and sat by myself.

I truly was a stupid, backstabbing, double-crosser.
