"Squeak!" Aqua, my blue puffle squeaked. He looked so happy I was home for the summer, and I was happy, too. I gave Aqua a pat and opened up "High School Drama." I was at the part where Hailey and Riley apologize to CPH. How I'd love to go there! I'd be best friends with Riley and Hailey, and nobody would judge me by how I looked. After 10 minutes, I finished the chapter and closed the book for about the 1,000th time in my life. I sat on my bed and texted Trista.
SERENA: hey girl!
TRISTA: hi! So happy school is finally over!
SERENA: ikr!!! Meet me at the town. Bring Rocket so Aqua won't be lonely!
TRISTA: KK! Be there soon!
I turned off my lousy Pengphone 3, for Non-Members could not buy 4, 5, or 6, and grabbed Aqua's leash. "I'm gonna go meet Trista. Rocket will be there," I told him. Aqua smiled. Rocket was a red puffle, and his best friend. "We're going out!" I shouted to Mom, who was on the couch and watching TV. "In a minute, the lottery is on!" Mom shouted back. I groaned. "We're never gonna win the lottery!" I replied. "And today's numbers are 5, 7, 2, and 9! Congratulations!" "Dangit, if only that nine was a six," dad said. "Oh wait, what's this? The nine seems to be a six! Sorry for the dissapointment. If your numbers are 5, 7, 2, and 6, claim your $1,000,000 right now!" "We won?" I said in disbelief. "WE WON!" Mom shouted. "Squeak!" Aqua shouted along. My older sister, Rini, came out of her room. "What's happening?" She asked. "WE WON THE LOTTERY!" Dad shouted. He picked her up and twirled her around. "No way. You're lying." Rini replied when she got put back down. "We're not!" I replied. Suddenly my phone vibrated. I checked my messages.
TRISTA: where r u? I've been waiting for like, 10 minutes
"Oh no, Trista's waiting for us! I gotta go!" I ran out the door with Aqua tugging me along. When I finally got to the town, I saw Trista waiting on the sidewalk. "Finally! Where have you been? And why are you smiling like you won the lotter-you won the lottery, didn't you?" Trista asked. Man, she was good! I screamed in excitement and she screamed back. "I can't believe this!" She shouted. "I know right!" I replied. "Serena, do you know what this means?! Endless Cookie Chillers from Gloria Penguin's!" Trista exclaimed. I laughed. Gloria Penguin's was a coffee shop in the Puffle Galleria, a mall near The Mine and Club Penguin High, a school I didn't attend. Trista and I loved their Cookie Chillers. "Does this mean you can get a membership now!?" Trista asked excitedly. I smiled. "I never thought of that, yeah!" "And maybe you could let me try on some real dresses!" Trista whispered. We laughed and talked and played with our puffles until it was getting dark and time for Trista to head home. My life has just taken a great turn! Or is it as great as I think?Serena
