Cas' POV
We were back at my house and we were just eating lunch when the doorbell rang.

"I'll get it." I said before getting up to get the door.

I opened the door and I couldn't believe who I saw.

It was my wife and son. But how? The last time we saw each other was 1916. How did she know where I lived? Did she ask my coven where I lived?

The last time we talked she said she never wanted to talk to me. Why was she here now after all these years? Could she possibly want to start over again? I would like that very much.

"Sarah, Bryan. What are you two doing here?"

"Bryan wanted to see his father, Castiel. He wants to spend time with you. After all, you did walk out on him a century ago."

"Hey, I did what I had to do to protect you and him. So, don't be mad at me. If you hadn't left me, you wouldn't have to drop off our son here today. We could've been a family, Sarah. I thought that's what you wanted."

"That is what I wanted but you're the one that walked out on us. Our family. What kind of father does that to a child?"

"I had to or else you would have all died. They were coming for us, Sarah. For you, for him, for us all. That's why I left? I had to kill them."

I heard Dean clear his throat. I turned around and cleared my throat as well.

"Dean, excuse my manners. This is my wife and son. Sarah and Bryan."

"Hi Sarah and Bryan. I'm Dean." Dean stuck his hand out towards Sarah.

Sarah just shooed Dean's hand and growled at him.

"Didn't your parents ever teach not to interrupt when two people are talking?" She growled.

"I'm sorry, Sarah." Dean said embarrassed.

"Well, I guess I'll be off. Here's your poor excuse of a son. I'll be back to collect the thing in a week. Goodbye Castiel."

She started to walk away but I was pissed, so I called her back.

"What the hell is wrong with you. That is our son. How dare you call a poor excuse of a son? That's our son." I yelled at her.

"Cas, calm down." Dean put this hand on my shoulder but I threw it off of me.

I was way too pissed right now.

"Dean, take Bryan into one of the rooms. I need to handle something. Bryan go with Dean." I said in a low and rough voice, not taking my eyes off of Sarah.

The hair at the back of my neck were standing up and I didn't want to disobey Cas right now.

"Come on, Bryan." Dean said gently.

"Don't you dare touch my son, you human. You don't even deserve to be alive. The human race should just die." She said with another growl.

"WATCH WHAT YOU SAY, BITCH. THAT'S MY FRIEND THAT YOU'RE TALKING TO." I growled and then without a warning, I slapped Sarah across the face.

She winced in pain and then extracted her fangs.

"Don't you dare fucking touch me ever again." She growled at me and then threw me against a wall.

Bryan ran over to Dean for protection and Dean took him to a room.

Dean's POV
Once we got into the room, the kid busted out crying.

"Hey buddy, it's ok. I'll make sure you're daddy is ok. Ok buddy? I promise."

"Why are they acting like this? Why do my parents hate each other so much? Why didn't my mom ever let me visit my dad when I was younger?" He cried.

"I don't know, Bryan. I really don't know. But, everything is going to be ok. I'll make sure your dad is safe and protected. I'll protect both of you, guys."

He still cried, so I brought him into an embrace, and he cried into my shoulder. After a while, he stopped crying, and went to go sit on the bed.

I studied Bryan's features and he looked a lot like Castiel. He had his father's raven black hair, his piercing blue eyes. The only thing that was his mothers was the really pale skin. I could tell he was a vampire for sure.

I snap out of my thoughts when I hear the front door slam. I hear footsteps approaching the room and the door opens. It's Castiel.

"Cas, are you ok?"

"Dean, I got bit by Sarah. I'm a vampire again, now."

My mouth dropped open and I was speechless. I really didn't know what to say. So, I just cleared my throat.

"I'm sorry, I didn't try and help you out there earlier."

"I'm fine, Dean. I'm just glad you didn't get hurt. Thanks for keeping an eye on Bryan for me."

"You're welcome. Are you ok, Cas?"

"Yeah, I'm fine. I just need to feed right now."

"Can I come with you, daddy? Maybe you could teach me how to hunt?"

"Sorry Bryan, but I can't. It's too dangerous out there for you. I don't want you getting killed."

"Please daddy, you'll be with me."

"Bryan, I said no and no means no. So don't ask again." Cas said in a low and rough voice.

"Dean, come with me." He snapped.

He walked out of the room and I just sat there scared. What happened to Castiel?

"I'll bring you back something, ok? I promise. Just stay here, ok?"

"Ok Dean. Thank you, Dean."

"You're welcome, Bryan. Now, I got to go."

"Ok, bye Dean."

"Bye Bryan."

"Dean, come on." Cas snapped again.

I walked out of the room and closed the door behind me.

"Cas, will you stop yelling at me. Jesus Christ."

"Then move your ass the first time I tell you to do something." He snapped again.

"You know what, you were nicer as a human."

"Humans can suck my dick." He growled.

"That's it" I growled.

I grabbed Cas' shoulder and slammed him against the wall.

"What's gotten into you, huh? Did Sarah get to you? Why the hell would you be rude to your son. Your son, Castiel. You're own child."

"That's just it, Dean. He's my son. Not yours, not ours, mine. He's my son and I can talk to him anyway I want to."

"Fuck you, Cas. You know what, I'll just stay here with your son and watch over him. Someone has to stay here with him. He's only 5 years old after all."

"No, you're coming with me."

"Why do you want me to come with you so badly?"

"Because if you don't come with me another human will die."

"Don't you dare, Castiel. You have to learn not to kill humans."

"That's why I need you to come with me, so that I don't kill another human."

"Fine, I'll come with you."

"Thank you."

"Alright, now let's go."
