Dean's POV
We were walking around the woods and then Cas saw a human. Cas was about to attack but I restrained him from doing so.

"No killing humans. Remember that, Cas."

"But, I'm really hungry." Cas whined in a desperate voice.

"Let's just keep walking until we see a deer. Animals. Not humans, ok Cas?" I said in a calm voice.

He was reluctant at first but then he agreed.

He huffed and said "fine."

We walked until we saw a family of deer. Cas sped to the deer's and all but one got away. Cas was able to catch one.

He extracted his fangs and sank his fangs into the animal. The deer yelped loudly and after a minute or so, it stopped. I had to look away.

I had a walk away. I walked to one tree further away from Cas and sank down to the ground.

That was terrifying and sad. I had a lot of emotions running through me and I started crying into my hands. I couldn't believe what I had just witnessed.

"Are you ok, Dean?" Cas said.

I looked up at him and wiped my tears away.

"Yeah, I'm fine."

"I'm sorry you had to witness that, Dean. I know that was terrifying and sad for you."

I looked at him surprised and wondering how he read my thoughts.

"Vampires can read minds, Dean."

I nodded and then we started walking further into the woods.

"Can I get your son something to eat for when we get back?"

"Sure." Cas said.

We walked until we found a family of bunnies. I walked up to the family but they all rushed away from me. I knelt down and tried to convince them that I wasn't going to hurt them.

"It's ok, guys. I'm not going to hurt you."

For a few minutes none of them would budge. Then, one of the bunnies came up to me. It started sniffing me then it rubbed it's small soft head against my leg.

I chuckled and started petting it. I picked it up and started stroking it's fur. He looked up at me and it nestled itself into my arms.

I looked at Cas and he was smiling.

"You're great with animals."

"Well, I like animals. They're cute."

"Hey, you wanna start heading home? It's getting pretty late."

"Yeah sure."

I looked at the family of bunnies and they started walking away. I looked at the bunny in my arms and it was sleeping.

"Looks like your staying with us, buddy." I said to the sleeping bunny in my arms.

I looked at Cas and said "Cas, can you get your son an animal so he can feed when we get home? Please?"

"Sure. I can see you really love that bunny and have no intentions on killing it."

"Thank you." I smiled.

"You're welcome."

We started walking out of the woods and Cas had caught something for his son. A squirrel.

We got to his house and he opened the door. We walked in and we went to the room his son was in.

He had fallen asleep. Cas walked in and woke him up.

Cas' POV
"Hey buddy, I caught you something for dinner."

"Thanks dad." He said taking the squirrel.

He bit into it and drank. Once he was done feeding he disposed of it by throwing it out the window.

"I'm really tired, dad. I'm going to bed. Night dad, love you."

"I love you, too son."

Dean's POV
I had to walk out into the living room because I couldn't stand to watch that poor little squirrel get killed. The worse part was that it didn't even know it was going to die. It was most likely running around, eating some nuts, and then BAM! Instant death.

Cas walks out of the room soon after and we kind of just look at each other for each other.

"I'm going to go get a cage for the bunny. I'll be back. Can you watch it for me? I mean, you already ate so I don't have to worry about you eating it, right?" I ask Cas.

He just rolled his eyes and said, "Just give me the damn bunny and I'll take care of it while you're gone."

"I'm not handing this bunny over to you with an attitude like that." I sassed.

"Can I please just have the bunny?" He said with a laugh.

"That's more like it." I said with a small laugh and handed the bunny to Cas.

Then I forgot something. I needed a car. I liked outside and Cas had a car.

"Hey Cas, can I borrow your car?" I asked him.

"Hell to the no. No one touches my car. Not even my wife." He said in a low voice.

"Ugh." Is all I said before walking out of the house and trying to find the closest pet store.

Cas' POV
The bunny slept for a bit longer in my arms but then when it woke up, it literally bit me, and then I lost the bunny because it started running around everywhere.

Fuck!

I heal myself from where the bunny had bit me and then started running around trying to find the damn stupid bunny.

I finally caught the damn stupid bunny and then at that moment Dean walked back in with a cage in his hand. He gave me an odd look.

"Cas, why are you on then ground?" He asked me still giving me a strange look.

"Well you see, what happened was, he bit me and jumped out of my arms. So then I had to chase him around the house and then I finally caught him. Sorry Dean." I said with a smile.

He walked over to me, crouched down, and took the bunny from my hands.

"Give me my poor little bunny back." He said in a rough voice.

"It's ok, little bunny. He's just not an animal lover like me." I said to the bunny.

The bunny licked my arm and then got into it's cage. I put some bunny food and water in it. He ate and drank. I admired the little bunny for a little bit. It was so adorable.
