(A/N)

I must of passed out because I woke up in a comfy bed in a pitch black room. I looked around me as my eyes adjusted to the darkness, when they did I saw a dark figure sitting beside the bed with his head in his hands looking down. I knew instantly it was my mate, Mason. He was asleep I think I couldn't really tell i haven't really learned how to use my abilities yet.

"I'm not asleep Sam." he said as he sighed and lifted his head to look at me. I froze in my place aware of being in a unfamiliar environment.

All I could spit out was "Where's Jason?" He flinched a little at his name, I felt a a painful burning sensation rising in my chest. I didn't know why I did what I did but next thing I know I was climbing out of the bed and onto his lap. He probably was shocked to because as i settled myself on him he just looked at me with a blank look, but after the initial shock of his mate close he relaxed and wrapped his arms around my waist and pushed his nose into the crook of my neck nuzzling the soft spot behind my ear. The burning sensation ended and a new one arose fluttering like a butterfly trying to escape. A gasp left my mouth as his skin touched mine, he ran his hand up and down my arm pulling me closer to his chest. It felt so good I didn't want it to stop, I felt like my wolf was trying to take over and It took a lot to hold her back. Mason was now kissing my neck and moving along my collarbone and moving closer to my lips. I wanted more so I maneuvered myself straddling him and grabbing the back of his head and crashing my lips to his. He moaned as I ran my hands through his short black hair and pushed myself closer against him. What was I doing Jason will be hurting!

~Stop thinking about him he isn't your mate!~ My wolf yelled at me through my mind. It made me stop kissing mason. I pulled my lips away and got up. He growled in protest as I sat on the bed holding my head in my hands.

"Sam what's wrong?" He asked his voice thick with lust and desire. It turned me on so much to see that I did that to him.

I sighed and looked up at his sharp green eyes. If looks could kill I would be on the floor, dead.

"It's just, I...I can't do this now." I went from kissing the boy of my dreams to running out of the room in tears. OK since I found out about all this, everything has moved so fast I can't comprehend it all. It feels like my chest is going to burst as I ran through the big house and outside into the dark night. I couldn't hold back anymore i had to shift my wolf was climbing to the surface. As soon as I got far enough away I shifted in mid air and landed on all fours as a pure white wolf.

Changing felt so good now, it felt right. I felt more close to my wolf like she was running beside me the whole time. I ran through the woods at a very high speed, the trees were rushing by in a blink of an eye. The wind rushing through my fur was the best feeling in the world so far. In the middle of my run I felt someone trying to creep into my head but I really didn't want to talk to someone at the moment so I shook my head ran faster trying to forget all the bull shit that was going on in my life. I came to a sudden stop at the edge of the tree line. Huffing and puffing as I lay down in the moonlight. The soft breeze felt so nice on my face and hot body from the run. Who ever was trying to get into my head a little whole ago was trying again. It was so annoying to have people on your head all the time, how do they stand it! I slowly put down my mental barriers.

~ Sam? Where are you?~

I could tell it was Jason from his soft rough concerned voice. I want to see him to talk about this whole messed up situation.

~ I don't really know. I just ran.~

~ OK? Well I can smell you so ill be there any minuet~

That's also a new thing to hear now that I know what I am. Its all new to me. Jason was right a few minutes later I hear a loud thumping sound coming from behind me getting closer. A musky outdoor scent washed over me and Jason lept into the clearing as his pitch black wolf. I could tell he didn't bring extra clothes so he came and sat next to me looking up at the sky. I lay back and look up at the brightest star in the sky. It was a beautiful night with no clouds in the sky and not even a chill. I didn't even realize I closed my eyes till a wet snout touched my cheek.
