I was scrolling downtown with my baby Aleyah and everything seemed like it was back perfect again! I mean after yesterday we just been lovey Dovey and getting alone. Everybody makes mistakes and we just so happen to make it through them.

"Babe I want this!" Aleayh said while pointing to this Rose Gold Chanel handbag.

"Ok babe! I'll go get it!" I said while walking into the store.

"Hold on bae. Let me take this call first and then I'll be right in behind you" Aleyah said while grabbing my arm before I made it all the way through the door.

I pecked her lips and then walked off to get that bag she wanted. I got her the bag she pointed at and since I had some making up to do I got the bag in all sizes of the same color. Shit if she wanted every color I would have gotten them cause that's my mutherfucking baby girl!

After I had got all the bags I went up to the register to checkout. The chick at the counter had been eyeing me since I walked in the store and I didn't have time for her games. Aleyah had already whooped my ass once and I wasn't gone take another one because some bitch thought I would be her come up.

I wouldn't even look at her. I just handed her my card and looked out the window to see if i could still see Aleyah. She was still talking on the phone. I noticed a dude  in a black suit across the street looking suspicious. He kept staring at Aleyah. I made a mental note to go check his ass when I left the store.

"Umm, sexy-" said the girl at the register as I whipped my neck around at her duck ass.

"Bitch, I'm not your sexy! Now hand me my shit before I get my girl to give you a lesson in respect." I said while snatching my bags heading for the door.

Midways to the door I turned and said,"if you want a Nigga like me get that thick ass mustache lined up first."

Before I could make it to the door I saw the dude in the suit across the street pull out his gun and start firing in broad daylight at my girl. It was like my body was locked in place and I couldn't do shit because I was paralyzed.  Aleyah didn't even see the shit coming because her back was turned to him.

When that first bullet pierced her back the way her body jumped drew me out of my trance and threw Our bags to the ground and ran out the door. In the span of the ten seconds it took me to reach her, her body had already been riddled with bullets. The man was still firing as I tried my best to cover her body to protect her from anymore bullets.

It was complete chaos out here because people were running and screaming everywhere. I felt Aleyah grip my neck and pull me closer to her as best as she could.

"This is it for me.." she said hoarsely as blood spurted out of her mouth.

"No it's not Baby. Hold on you not dying on me" I screamed frantically.

Why all the women in my life dying.Everything was just getting by right between us and now she leaving me. I couldn't take this pain and I couldn't let this happen. I thought

"I love you" I heard her faintly say.

"I love you more-" I said as bullets pierced me in the back before more bullets began to rain down on me.

I still tried to protect Aleyah,even thought the pain was unbearable.

"Sta - stay with m- me" I said while trying to keep her and myself alive.

She would continues blink her eyes to let me know that she could  hear me and I would repeatedly say them same thing until he was done shooting at us.

After he got done with us,there was a full on shoot out going on between the man and the cops. I accepted my fate and kissed Aleyahs bloody lips as we took our last breaths together. Our blood mixed together to form a red river of love, pain, and loyalty. 

I could feel heart stop and her body fill with coldness. Tears started shedding down my face and everything in my eye sight became a blur. I felt sharp pains continuous appear in my chest and blood pour rapidly from my body.

Soon everything just went full blank and I couldn't hear all the commotion going on anymore.
