Chapter Eleven

Downtown
Moe Davis
I looked out the window of my office to see that everybody was here and separated into their own section. Aleyah was so nervous that her hands was shaking and she was pacing back and forth. I moved from the window and grabbed her by her waist.

"Calm down babe." I said while kissing her neck.

"I'm trying too!" She said while turning around to face me.

The door opened and it was Mase.

"It's time!" Mase said while closing the door back.

We both sighed loudly and I grabbed her hand.I  led her down the stair into the room where Uptown and Downtown was now about to fight.

We both ran in between them and I got my side to calm down and Aleyah did the same.

The tension in the room was so high that you could cut it with a knife.

"Why we here?!! Somebody asked from Uptown.

"We here because Leyah and I got something to tell you" I said while holding her hand and smiling.

"I wasn't talking to yo bitch ass" The same boy said while coming toward Moe

Twali stopped the boy and Aleyah grabbed my arm.

"We here for two things! Number one is that Moe and I are together, we're getting married and we love each other. "Aleyah said.

Everybody started yelling and talking shit. I tried to calm everybody down and so did Mase ,but Downtown and Uptown was like raging pit bulls at each other.

Aleyah let go of my hand,grabbed her gun out the side of her jeans,and shot 3 shots in the air. Everybody got quiet and focused their attention on her.

"WHEN IM TALKING NOBODY SPEAKS OR MOVE !!" She yelled while walking back and forth on the invisible line that separates both crews.

"You ain't my dam leader!"Mike,One of my members said while stepping up to Aleyah face.

I pulled her back and got in front of her. We stared each other down and I pull out my gun with a quickness and shot him in the head with no hesitation.

"ANYBODY ELSE HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY!" I asked as everybody stayed silent.

"Now like my girl was saying, We are together and we are merging together as one crew! If you don't like it then leave, but remember if you leave ain't no coming back." I said while grabbing Aleyah hand and walking out my warehouse.

We got in my car and headed to my mother's house. I got out and opened Aleyah's door and led her into the house.

"Ma where you at?" I asked.

She came out the kitchen and hugged me. I introduced Aleyah as my fiance and moms looked like she was about to have a heart attack.

"Mrs.Davis,What's wrong!" Aleyah asked as she grabbed my mom hand.

"Yall are third cousin's and ain't no fucking son of mine marrying his damn cousin!" She said while yelling a little bit.
