The Slaying Beauty

One upon a time, in a kingdom rich in flowers (mostly roses) called Rose Kingdom. The rulers are kind to their subjects and generous too.

Unfortunately the king and queen has no child. So they search for who they called Maleficent and ask for the king's and queen's wish, she gave them blood like potion that has to be drank both by the king and queen.

After a few weeks, the queen has been pregnant. And after a few months a baby girl was born, they named her Aurora. The baby has golden hair and lips red as blood.

A grand christening was held and everyone in the kingdom was invited except for one.

The three forest fairies was been Aurora's god mothers. The first gave her the gift of beauty. The second gave the gift of song. When the third was giving her gift to the princess, a strong wind blew her away, the skies darkening with heavy clouds with thunder, then at the center there appeared a demon like shadow, then the fog disappeard the shadow turn out to be Maleficent, black robe with horns of a demon and she's holding a stamp with a green glow.

"In all the creatures in the kingdom, I'm the one who didn't accept any invitations. The one you owe a child." She said.

"There must be a mistake-" said the king

"No mistake! And for that I will give my gift to the child." Maleficent said.
"Listen well all of you. The princess will indeed grow with grace and beauty, be loved by all who meets her."

"That's a wonderful gift." The queen said.

"Shhss.. But, before the sunsets on her sixteenth birthday she will prick her finger on the spindle of a spinning and fall into a sleep like death!"

"No!" The queen screamed and took baby Aurora from the crib.

Maleficent immediately disappeard leaving the laughing echo of her voice.

"What shall we do?" The king asked.

"Because the anger of a fairy is powerful than good spells, I guess we have no power to break her spell." Said the first witch "But we can try something."

The third witch think of something before giving her gift to the princess. "Not as a gift but a curse from a hatred heart she'll receive. As the princess sleeps as well as the kingdom shall sleep and time will pass but not a single age will age. Because she prick her finger and blood drip a blood from the lips a pure hearted man shall kiss the princess and the curse shall break." The only thing the third fairy can think. They cannot break it but they can revise it.

After the christening the king ordered all the spinning wheels in the whole kingdom to be burned. That night the king and queen ask the fairies to take the princess away from the kingdom so Maleficent cannot find her.

The fairies raised the princess in a woodcutters cottage and named her Briar Rose.

After sixteen years..

"Rose! Be careful. Dont talk to strangers and dont go too far."

"Yes god mother."

Rose was ask to pick some berries unknowingly that her god mothers plan to surprise her for her sixteenth birthday.

Rose was the baby Aurora that was cursed. She grew up kind and gentle, with hair of sunshine gold and lips red as blood and she has a beautiful singing voice that attracts also the animals in the woods.

On her way to pick some berries, she sang her favorite song. Birds, rabbits and squirels appeared behind trees and bushes, following her angelic voice.

While picking some berries, another animal appears to be attracted by her voice. A horse appeared out from the bushes, it appears to be a horse of a man.
