Chapter 2

Levana didn't know how long she was traveling for. It felt like a split second, but at the same time it felt like eternity. Was her father really back? Aunt Lucia had told her many things about him, about what he did to her mother and other people's families. She had told her all about Harry Potter and the Dark Lords infatuation with him. The stories of Harry Potter and his family had always fascinated her. The boy who lived, that's what they called him, he had survived the wrath of her father which had apparently defeated him.

Once Lord Voldemort was destroyed the first time, and Levana had been awakened, the death eaters came for her. They didn't seem to know what to do with her after first discovering her existence, but those who served her father and weren't in Azkaban, stuck a deal with Lucia to let them visit Levana and teach her their ways. The purpose of this wasn't known at the point, but Lucia couldn't help but suspect that they wanted her ready if the Dark Lord was raised again.

Levana was wrenched from her thoughts as she was spat out of the Floo network and onto a cold, stone floor. Where was she? The room was very dark and very cold even though she had just arrived in a burst of fire. Just as she began to get her bearings, someone came marching into the room she was in, he must have heard her clattering around.

"Who are you?" The slow nasally voice asked her as he began to make his way towards her. Now that there was a little light, she could make out a tall figure dressed in black robes. "How did you enter Hogwarts?" He demanded, and grabbed her by the arm, dragging her towards him. "What is your name?" He asked again.

"I-I'd rather not divulge that information until I can talk to Dumbledore," Levana replied, her voice getting firmer with every word. Lucia had told her to be strong, she had taught her all sorts of magic that would protect her, and some of the people that would come to visit them would also aid her in her teachings. She particularly remembered one man, a vile, harsh man who went by the name of Lucius Malfoy. He taught her many a hard lesson about strength, and even though Lucia protested, he insisted that it was necessary for her to not only have strong magic, but also a strong mind. Levana originally hated that man, but looking back on it, she had to admit he taught her a lot.

Levana's mind snapped back to the situation at hand when the man began to drag her out of the room and through the massive halls of the school. "It seems we had better take his issue to the headmaster then," He replied calmly and slowly, counter to the pace he was walking. "Here at Hogwarts, we take intrusions very seriously," The man informed her. As they walked through the halls Levana couldn't help but admire the grandeur of the place, however it was rather short lived when she was thrust into what seemed to be Dumbledore's office. He place was just as grand though and there were lots of books stacked here and there, as well as a magnificent looking bird perched by the headmasters desk. "I caught this intruder," He began in his monotone voice. "Entering through the Floo Network," He finished.

The old man in front of Levana turned around slowly and observed her, as if trying to divulge her deepest secret with his stare. He was rather tall and had a long beard which must have been growing for ages. She could only imagine how old he was. "Thank you professor Snape," Dumbledore replied and walked towards the intruder. "And does this young lady have a name?" He asked, waiting for Levana's reply.

She suddenly felt vulnerable and glanced at the exit behind them wondering if she should run for it, no, she was a powerful witch, but these two wizards gave of an even more powerful aura. Just to solidify that point, the man, professor Snape, moved so that he was blocking her only way of escape. "Tell us you name, girl," He commanded with a threatening glare.

Levana knew she had to do this, Lucia told her to trust Dumbledore, so she swallowed her fear and looked him in the eye. "Levana Maeve Riddle," She replied evenly. Truthfully Levana didn't know what to expect, but seeing this great wizard stumble away from her and almost fall over was not it. Was she truly that much of an abomination.
