Ozpin let us skip the entrance fight thing, mostly because he said he already had teams picked out for us, and partners too. He also let us skip it because everyone was hungry and wanted ice cream.

We all ended up going this little ice cream shop called 'Hyper' (if anyone gets this horrible joke i'm gonna laugh so hard.) We took up three tables, and earned ourselves very odd stares from the staff. No wonder, we weren't exactly dressed normally, seeing our combat uniform... things that just look weird compared to others.

"Can I help you?" asked a woman as we all got in line for icecream.

After what must have been half an hour, we all sat down with our frozen deserts.

"Wow, what great service," mumbled Septimus under his breath, "everyone's staring."

I shrugged, "We do look weird," I pointed out, "I mean, look at Legend, she's wearing metal claws."

He nodded in agreement, "Still," he said, "it's rude to stare."

I snorted, "Like you've never done anything rude before." He glared at me before returning to his peanut-butter icecream, that I would never understand how he liked. I'm sorry world, I don't like peanut butter.

"I wonder how everyone's doing," said Drew, staring boringly at his cone of rocky road, which he took one bite of before declaring was disgusting even though he had loved the stupid flavor since he was six.

"Probably horribly," I responded, smiling as I remembered what was happening or going to happen to them. (Watch RWBY players and pieces s1 to know what im talking about)

Drew nodded before getting up and walking away, eventually just leaving the shop because he's just the nicest person ever and doesn't care about abandoning us.

"And there he goes," I muttered.

"HELLO!!!"

I nearly jumped as Pluto sat down at our table, right next to me and Tressa. "Oh my God," I said, "why are you here? Why?"

"Cause I wanna sit by Tressa," he said in his super annoying whiny voice, which somehow made Tressa blush deeply.

"I ship it," me and Septimus said at the same time, causing the other two to glare at us.

"Shut up," Pluto half said, half yelled, "just because I am good friends with this idiot," he pointed at Tressa, "does not mean that we are in a romantic replatipnship!"

"Replationship?" I asked, causing Septimus and Tressa to laugh and Pluto to look really frustrated with me. "Pluto I think you need speech lessons," I said, which made him jump up from his chair and yell at me for the next five minutes that I as going to wake up and be covered in whipped cream the next time I let my guard down. Yep. Weird friends, weird threats.

After another ten minutes, everyone calmed down, and was basically done with their food. Except for Orpheaus, who did not like icecream. Then again he didn't like any sweets, and had tried before to convince me to eat blood sausage, which is actually just the roasted blood of several different dead animals. They call it a sausage because it kind of looks like one.

We left the shop, once again earning several odd looks as we walked out of town.

A moment letter, my scroll was ringing. Ozpin called and told us that the entrance test thing was over, and to get back as soon as possible.
