Jenna's POV*
The first thing I noticed when I woke up was the sun streaming in through the curtains and directly into my eyes. The next, was of course the ringing of my alarm, as always, I groaned throwing myself off my bed landing ungracefully on the floor with a thump. I rolled towards my alarm clock from my heap of limbs on the floor. I smacked the alarm clock silencing it's pestering.Sighing I got up off the floor dragging myself to Anna's room I started hammering on the door with both fists with as much energy as I could muster this early in the morning. Once I heard disgruntled moaning from within I knew she had awoken.
Satisfied with my work I moved onto the next door. Today was the one day Leah didn't leave earlier than the rest of us. I started with a gentle knocking before increasing in crescendo. I heard a long drawn out 'Stop' whined from within the confines of her room.
Nodding to myself I moved on to the final room. Cece and Lizzy's room. They were the only ones that shared. It surprisingly worked. They actually volunteered to share which shocked the rest of us.
I arrived in front of said door and began tapping an irregular tune on the door before knocking quickly turned into banging. And kicking too. I heard begs being whined at me to 'stop' from beyond the Tiffany blue painted birch door.
I walked towards the kitchen and began pulling out breakfast supplies. Fruit and fibre for me. Strawberry Poptarts, waffles, freshly cut fruit and chocolate syrup for the others. Three plates, one bowl, three sets of cutlery, a spoon and a small square tuba ware pot for Anna's fresh fruit to take with her.
I put three poptarts into the toaster and one waffle. When they popped out I put other three waffles in. I plated it up then sat down to have my own breakfast.
As usual Anna came rushing in I handed her, a paper plate of poptarts and her fruit she grabbed them as she rushed past she then proceeded to shove her foot into her shoe and grab her bag while awkwardly balancing and trying to put the other shoe on while eating a poptart.
She called out a muffled 'bye', around a mouthful of poptart, as she rushed out. Leah had trudged tiredly in at the same time Anna had rushed through. She sat down on her stool diagonal to me and watched Anna with raised eyebrows. She now turned around to eat her poptart that I had pushed across to her. She took the spoon from the bowl of fruit and began scooping some on to her plate.
We had both almost finished our breakfast when Lizzy came in dragging Cece. Lizzy was extremely bubbly and like an over excited puppy. And nothing excited her more than the prospect of food. Where as Cece was more antisocial and slightly condescending at first. But was actually a passionate, goofy dork. Cece helped balance out Lizzy but also complimented her weird personality too sometimes.
"No." Cece whined dragging out the 'o' "Lemme sleep."
"But there's food!" Lizzy replied in a far too excited tone for the time of morning.
She had finally dragged her to the dining table. Groaning Cece sat down grabbing her two waffles drizzling chocolate syrup over and grabbing some fruit. Lizzy was sat down to the left of Leah and Cece to the right. I got up rinsing my bowl, I left to get changed.
I pulled out a cream sweater, burgundy jeans and scarf with a charcoal satchel and dark brown leather boots.
I pulled my wavy hair into a ponytail. I added some mascara, grey smokey eye-shadow and winged eye liner. I grabbed my phone, keys and purse making sure I had all of my equipment for my lectures. Once I was sure I exited my room to see Leah was ready to go too.
"You ready?" Leah asked
"Yep. You?" I replied
"Yeah let's go."
