prologue part 2

The next day I found out that Kain made up with his girlfriend for being late and that I had to look after the gang for a favour,I did'ent really mind at first,I thought it would be easy enough but...

"Hey Kira,wheres the boss,is he here?"Micah asked at the door when I wandered in

"He's gone out with his girlfriend,so he asked me to take over today"I replied

"Wow dude that's gonna be tough,don't worry though i'll help you out" .With a smile Micah patted my shoulder and walked with me into the main hall of the old mansion.The crowd of people awaited us,most of them were just hanging around the staircase when they lifted their heads to face me.

"Listen everyone.Right now Kira's brother is on a date with his girl and he asked him to pitch in today as leader,if anyone has Any objections i wanna hear them now!"Micah declared.

There was a moments silence looking around to see if anyone had anything to say,it was at that moment when I heard a loud voice shout from behind me. "I do,I have something to say!" it called belonging to the large man with a bold head who was cracking his knuckles.I didn't reply,I simply turned.He cracked a smile at my will to except his challenge,of course he wasn't the kind to listen to words,he was more like a gorilla.

"You can at least tell me why"I replied "I did'nt want this to be honest this was just a favour as Kain's younger brother".

"Yeah,I got a reason,your a scrawny little punk who has no respect for his leader!"he yelled "so I'm gonna beat the crap out of you to prove that"

"Fine then,bring it!"I called bravely

He cursed before charging at me,Micah stood back to make room,I swayed a side as the big man ran straight past me,almost tripping up from loss of balance. "Why you cocky little-"Before he could reply I came in with a high kick from above, his body fell backward then I punched him in the gut and slammed him into the floor from a headlock.The floor shook slightly from the weight that was forced down with so much strength it astonished everyone else.They were speechless as I rose from the ground to catch my breath,whipping the sweat from my brow.

"Im up for a rematch Any time you want"I said to the unconscious man

There was a cheer from as the others came to join me in the middle,smiles and laughter filled the air as I wondered why they were so happy.I turned out the man I just beat was a bully who was blackmailing people and stealing their money,after I found that out he was banned from the gang then on.Things went smoothly since then and we were able to work together as a unit like Spartens,we got rid of most of the other gangs in only a few hours and before long there was nothing left to do except hang around.

It was later that night,the cold air was tingling at my finger tips sipping from the frozen can I got from the shop nearby,I was with Micah at the time when the sound of my phone was heard,it was from Kain.

"Hey Kain,hows it going?"I asked

The voice on the other end was panting for breath like he had been running away from something,a troubling thought crossed my mind, I hoped wouldn't be true.

"Kain?"I repeated

"K-Kira listen to me right now,get the gang out of the mansion now"he snapped

"What are you talking-?"

"Just do it all right! It's those punks who got away that time,they found our hide out and rigged them with C4,it's gonna blow Any minute"He urged.

My heart felt like it was about to pop out of my chest from the immense shock when he said it.I darted to where Micah was by the counter being served at the shop.He was in front of a large cue when I ran in to warn him.
