Lessons went surprisingly fast and soon enough it was lunch time,time for me to meet up with Mrs Suzami at the gym as she said.I made my way there calmly.The corridors were filled with buzzing students and hurrying teachers chatting away about there next classes.I payed them no mind,i was never one to care about other peoples lives.
The moment I opened the corridor into the yard a sharp nip of strong wind hit me in the face like a the smell of pepper.My eyes blurred like water as I made my way round the front building of thorn district and down the narrow pathway where yet another warehouse-like building stood ahead,the gym.
Eureca was waiting near the wall,she was Lent against the wall hugging a clipboard against her chest,I approached her,my footsteps caught her attention as she lifted her head to see me.A reliving smile came to her face ''you came,i'm surprised,I thought you wouldn't''She said.
''Yeah well,i'm curious about this rumour going around,I wanna see if it's true''I admitted bashfully ruffling my hair.''It's not a rumour,I can prove it'' She replied before handing me the clipboard she held.My eyes glanced down,it looked like a register list with dates through the next 3 weeks,there were names missing,as the the days went to present day. ''Doesn't anyone know about this,The other teachers?''I asked.
''Yes but they cant make a move without eney evidence that the taken students are a alive or dead''she explained.
''So i gues the only thing to do is find out what happened to them,right?''I suggested.
I looked down at the names listed and found someone I knew,Vaan's older sister was written down,my eyes widened in shock.''Eureca...what dates this?''I asked showing her the date where the name was.
''That was today,she was sent to the head masters office for getting into a fight with a junior,personaly I dont agree with it,I heard she only used self defence...Do you know her?''She replied.
'No,but I have a Friend who does,i'm gonna find out what happened to her'' I said walking towards the main building.''K-Kira wait,what are you going to do?''She asked hurrying at my side,my pace was quikening as we headed across the open corridoor by the locker rooms.
''I'm going to get into that office,and your gonna help me''
''What are you thinking? You don't know whats in there kira,for all you know he might be a phyco path or a demon,did you ever think about that?''She persisted.I suddenly came to a stop after a moment of thought about what she said,it was a risky move but I was willing to go through with it.''I know that,but...If there's something I can do i'll take it''I said.
''Are you prepared of what you might get into if you go through with this?''She pressed.
''Yeah,but I need a way to get into the office without them getting suspious''
''I have an idea,follow me''She suggested.
She led me to an old store room where none could see us and closed the door ''What are u doin'?''I asked watching her lock the door.''I cant show you in the open...''She replied turning to face me.I watched her in curiosity,wondering what she was doing when I saw her change in body.Her arms shortened and her legs shrunk,she had the body of a little girl,her hair was shorter and her face was more circular.I couldn't believe my eyes,as her clothes became loose on her shoulders she looked up at me,her eyes were still as green as ever.
''This is my power, I can change my body to any age I desire''She explained sharply.
''Change your body?''I uttered backing into a pile of mops,the movement caused them to fall with a sudden thud that shocked me.
''Yes.It's a very useful ability that I have been born with,i'm whats known as a Time twister,an immortal witch who is able to live forever.....''She explained.
I was in disbelief again,she was immortal? That's imposable! I thought to myself.....But then I remembered her transformation,she was a woman but now shes a Little girl barely my age,is this really happening?
''Who are you?!''I exclaimed but she broke off the question by covering my mouth with haste to block out my yell, when she was sure I wouldn't say another word she released me.
''I'll get to the point now,basically we need to get into the head maters office without suspicion and the only way you can do that is to get in trouble,big trouble''She explained.
I nodded.
''Now you understand we can get to work,I know full well how much of a delinquent you are so this should be no problem for you''She replied bluntly.
I brushed that fact off,though it was true and I couldn't deny it,I didn't like the fact being pointed put by her,this woman who I hardly knew,it felt like she was reading my mind,it was a strange feeling.''Fine whatever,what are you gonna do?''I asked coldly,my attitude returning.
''I will standby until the right moment,if you get into a life threatening situation use this''She handed me a keyring with a button on it.
''Whats this,An alarm?''I replied.
''It's a transmitter,it's hooked to my phone so no matter what I will know if ur safe or not,keep it with you no matter what''She explained.With that we both left the storeroom like nothing happened,I clenchd the keyring and hooked it to my belt as it banged against my side as I wondered off to class.
