A/N: There is a time jump at this point in the story, so this part will only make sense if you know the basic storyline of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. Thanks!

"Just wait until I tell Daniel the news! Sirius Black is innocent!" Rosa said as she, Harry, Ron, Hermione, Sirius, Lupin and Peter Pettigrew made their way back to Hogwarts castle from the Shrieking Shack.Ron was being supported by Harry and Hermione, as he had broken his leg earlier that night.
Peter Pettigrew was being escorted by Lupin and Sirius, to avoid any attempts of escape.
The group stopped once they reached a clearing. Ron sat down by a tree, and his friends knelt beside him.
Out if the cornor of her eye, Rosa noticed that Sirius had strayed a little ways away from the group, and was gazing at the castle. He looked somewhat sad, and yet happy to be there once again.
"Harry." She said quietly and nudged him. She then pointed over to Sirius.
"I'll stay with Ron. You two go." Hermione told them.
They nodded, and then walked over to stand on either side of Sirius.
"It's just as I remember it." Sirius said quietly and he sighed, his eyes never once leaving the castle. "Oh, what I wouldn't give to go back there."
"Maybe some day you will." Rosa said and grinned at him. Sirius smiled back.
"That was a very noble thing you did back there, Harry. You didn't have to do it." Sirius said, turning his attention away from the castle, and onto Harry.
"Well, I don't think that our father would have wanted his best friends to become murderers." Harry said matter of factly. Rosa nodded.
Her thoughts then turned to Professor Snape. Harry had thrown him into the wall of the Shrieking Shack earlier that night, when he tried to turn in Sirius and Lupin.
She didn't blame him for believing that they were guilty. From his point of view, it was only logical. And, given their past, it wasn't unreasonable.
She just hoped he was alright...
"I know, it's probably a crazy idea, but perhaps...maybe some day, you two would be able to live with me." Sirius said slowly.
Harry and Rosa exchanged excited expressions.
"Really, Sirius? Do you really mean it?" Harry asked with a big smile.
"We would love that!" Said Rosa with the same excitement.
Sirius' smile slowly faded.
"No...It's not a good idea. Unless, of course, you'd like a life on the run, staying in dreary places...No. It would be better for you two to stay where you are now." Said Sirius solemnly.
Harry and Rosa's hearts sank with disappointment.
"Speaking of which, I never knew why you didn't stay at the Dursley's with Harry, Rosa." Sirius said.
"Oh, well. That was how it was supposed to be originally, but apparently when we were still infants, the Dursley's took me to the orphange, because they didn't want more than two children. Also, Harry could wear Dudley's old clothes." Rosa said matter of factly.
"Well, that's an insane reason not to want you." Said Sirius.
"Tell me about it." Said Harry. Rosa had told him this story before.
"Well, maybe some day, we can be a family." Sirius said, his smile returning at the thought.
Suddenly, a growling, sort of grunting noise coming from behind them. The three of them whirled around to see Professor Lupin clutching his chest in pain.
Rosa realized what was going on when the full moon appeared from behind the night clouds.
Hermione had explained Professor Lupin's "condition" earlier that night.
He had let go of Pettigrew, and Rosa watched as he changed back into a rat, and scampered off into the night.
Both Harry and Rosa tried to run after Peter Pettigrew, but Sirius held them back. Lupin was far too dangerous to be around right now.
Sirius ran over to his friend, as Lupin began to transform.
"My friend, have you taken your potion tonight?" Sirius asked, but it was too late. Lupin had lost his ability to speak.
It wasn't long before Lupin had completely transformed, and was bared his teeth at all of the people around him.
He began to pad very slowly over to where Hermione amd Ron were, a low growl escaping from his mouth.
"Professor?" Hermione said gingerly.
Harry carefully made his way over to Hermione and Ron to try to protect them. Rosa couldn't move. She was absolutely petrified.
Lupin always about to charge on her friends...
Thankfully, Professor Snape came out of the blue, and came in between Lupin, and the children.
Lupin eventually gave up on the group, and to Rosa's alarm, began to tree towards her slowly, growling louder than before.
Without knowing exactly what she was doing, Rosa took her wand out from in her pocket. She didn't want to use it on Professor Lupin, however, and continued to take small steps away from the werewolf.
Her breathing increased the closer he got to her. Everyone in the clearing was staring at her intently, with a terrified look.
Rosa closed her eyes...This was the end...Death by teacher...
All of a sudden, out of the blue, Rosa heard a grunt from behind her, only, this one didn't sound like it belonged to a werewolf, but to a dog!
Rosa's eyes shot open just in time to see none other than Daniel, in his husky form, charge towards Professor Lupin, and begin to fight him off!
The two brawled violently, much to the bewilderment of everyone except Rosa. She had almost forgotten that no one else knew who Daniel was at the moment.
Daniel was at an extreme disadvantage, in both strength and size.
Rosa's heart was beating so fast, it could have beat out of her chest.
Why was Daniel doing this? How did he know they were in danger? "He could get seriously hurt!" Rosa thought.
Rosa's mouth fell open when Lupin's claw flew through the air, and struck Daniel right in the rib cage. The force of the impact was enough to throw Daniel into a nearby tree.
"No!" Rosa shrieked, and she ran over to Daniel and knelt beside him.
Still in his husky form, his eyes were closed and his breathing laboured.
It wasn't long before Sirius transformed as well, and took over the fight with Lupin.
"Come on, Dan. Hold on! Hold on!" Rosa said to him as his consciousness slipped away...
