Social butterfly Table
Phones, pictures, and stories of wonders
The social butterflies go
They tell the tail of 20-hour trips
That brought memories and gifts
Their mouths flutter as they utter words that don't match my own.
Thoughts that never occurred
The social butterfly talk the talk
they walk the walk
The social butterfly's only care for the distractions on their glass screens.
But the social butterflies don't use their wings
They are trapped in their cocoon
Shielded from the world.
