Magnificent

Iridescent

The colors

The strokes

Something unlike anything she has ever known

She lets it story be told

Hold it with pride

Let it shine

On the Refrigerator door

What is it? They ask

"A picture of the sea"

She announced with pride

Crinkle on her forehead, slight sliver of her lips.

It's pretty they says

Slam the brush against the canvas

Smooth droplets of water cover the page

a puddle of colors sinking into the creases

leaving scares to be covered

Crinkle on the corners

Tears here and there

Distorted image

Frightening maddening

"What is it?" They asks.

"Figure it out", she says

Turns back and draws some more

Line and scribbles

Some more wrinkles

Paper filled trash

"Must be perfect"

"And intact."

Frowns

Canvas or paper

Oil or acrylic

A feeling is a feeling

Such as a thought is a thought

Different unique

Your artwork may not be perfect

But it's Perfect to me.
