The Rinnegan

The Meeting

We finally arrived in Konoha. This is my chance to meet people and to look at a proper ninja village. I told my two other team mates to meet me later at the ninja academy whilst I look around the village. I had started to walk around and had come to a small alleyway when I saw a big group of people...

And me being me, always going places I shouldn't, I walked staright towards them. 

One of the bigger ninjas, who was wearing a mask, was having an argument with a raven-haired boy sitting in a tree, and was about to unleash his concealed puppet he carried on his back, when suddenly a red-haired ninja appeared hanging upside down from the tree.

"Kankuro! Don't. We didn't come here to quarrel with children. Have you forgotten why we're here?" He asked the masked ninja, who I guessed to be part of his team. 

"But... but they started it! The little one slammed into me!" 

"Shut up. Or I'll kill you." 

I must admit I found him incredibly sexy. I felt lost as I was looking into his sea-green eyes...

So right at that moment I appeared in the middle of the group using my transportation justu. They all stared wide eyed at me, and I made a blonde-haired boy fall over, which was quite funny I have to admit. 

A pink-haired girl piped up: "Who are you, and what are you doing in Konoha? Sate your business, all four of you! I can't just let you go walking around our village" And I can say that I instantly disliked her.  

So I remarked "Well I'm here for the Chunin exams, and I'm guessing the other three are too. I thought you'd know about it, this being your village and all..." 

She glared at me so hard, I thought she was going to bore holes through me..

"That is our purpose. But who are you?" the red-haired boy asked as he landed infront of his two team mates. 

"Well.. I am Mineko Uzumaki. And all of you lot are..?" I looked around me to all that were there. 

"I am Gaara of the Sand. These two are Kankuro and Temari." Said the red-haired boy. 

" Uchiha Sasuke" said the raven-haired boy as he landed infront of me. 

"I'm Sakura Haruno by the way!" Said the pink-haired girl as she stared at Sasuke in a way that made me want to be sick.  

I turned around to the blonde-haired boy and I felt as if I had seen him before. He felt similar to me, like we were close. 

He said "My name's Naruto Uzumaki! Hey, what's up with your eyes?" 

Oh, the Rinnegan. My sensei did say that only a few people had ever seen the Rinnegan. So it would be completely weird around here. 

"My eyes? I have the Rinnegan. and I'm guessing that you would have the Sharingan, what with you being an Uchiha" I said as I turned round to meet the eyes of Sasuke. 

"Why wouldn't I? All Uchiha's have the..." 

"The Rinnegan? Not many people have ever had that Occular justu. I look forward to being able to fight with you in the exams, Mineko." Gaara spoke with that sultry tone. "And you Uchiha." 

"It would be my pleasure to meet you again, Gaara." I locked into his eyes, once again getting lost in them. 

"We'll see you there, Uzumaki." the Uchiha said cooly. 

"Doesn't anyone want to fight with me?" Naruto piped

"No." Sasuke and Gaara said simultaneously. I turned, gave him a smile and waved at him, turned back and walked straight through the group of Sand Ninja, staring at Gaara. 

I regretted doing that as I walked down that alleyway to the Ninja Academy. I must have looked like such a freak.. Nice one Mineko, you always know exactly the wrong thing to do with things like that. I focused on finding my team mates, and then finding our place to stay that night. I went to sleep filled with dread and excitement. I fell asleep goin through all my jutsus and techniques, trying to remember everything that my sensei had taught me. I didn't sleep a lot that night.
