As I woke up screaming, Naruto ran into my room filled with as much dread as I had.

"The nine tailed beast..." Naruto panted, his face full of horror.

"...spoke to me." I finished his sentence, my face matching his.

"I saw our parents, they were dying, and then we were torn apart, and then... " He mumbled rapidly.

My eyes widened as I realised what this meant. "then the nine tails was mocking me, laughing... laughing..."

"Mineko." the nine tails growled.

"Stop, stop, stop, please just stop" I whispered, clutching my head. Naruto placed his hands on top of mine.

"He'll stop, he can't hurt you..." he said unsurely. He froze, and clutched his hands to his head.

"Mineko." The voice grumbled.

"What do you want?" I shivered as I locked eyes with my brother and tried to comfort him.

"You can wake the dead, Mineko."

My eyes widened. "...what? what does that have to do with you-"

The nine tails sighed. "it means you can ask the people who know. You can get your answers from your parents. As much as I despise them I've grown towards you Mineko over the years."

"Why didn't you tell me before? Why didn't you try to talk to me before? Why now?"

"Because you can both unlock a power bigger than the powers of Konoha combined."

I looked at Naruto, who seemed to understand what was going on, although he still looked frightened and confused.

"Naruto, where does Kakashi live?"

He looked more confused than ever. "Why would you want Kakashi-"

"Please just get him. I'll meet you at the training ground. This might sort some things out that have been unanswered."

I stood up from the floor, and helped Naruto up before hugging him and leaving for the training ground. Jumping over the fence was easy enough, and I soon found three wooden posts infront of a war memorial. I started to read the names to pass the time, turning the bracelet round my wrist and repeating the names in a sort of prayer, hoping the voice in my head was telling the truth and not playing with my heart as well as Narutos.

The nine tails spoke up. "Mineko. The hand signs are-"

"Kurama, just tell me what they are when the time comes ok?"

He seemed a little shocked. "You know my name?"

I smiled. "I thought it would be courteous to learn all the tailed beasts names incase I ever met them. Seems that would be sooner rather than later."

He laughed.

"Mineko?" the quiet whisper accompanied by stumbling feet only meant Naruto had come and the sighs that followed meant he had brought Kakashi.

"I'm sorry to wake you in the middle of the night, but Kurama has told us something that could change everything."

Naruto looked equally puzzled as he was tired. "Who's Kurama?"

"The nine tailed beast." Kakashi answered. "Explain this all from the start."

"Kurama started talking to us-" I started.

"Both of you?"

We nodded. "I'm not entirely sure why he's in my mind as well as Narutos, but he kept showing us these nightmares, these visions of our parents dying, and..." I walked out infront of one of the wooden posts and leaned back on it. "He told me I can talk to the dead. I don't know how dangerous this can be, but I have to try, and I can't wait until morning."
