Chapter 3

I woke up to the sound of my alarm blaring from my phone. At least it wasn't something like a hip hop song. I set it as BTS Jungkook's cover of 'Nothing Like Us'.

I groggily sat up and checked the time. It was 8:30 A.M. Kihyun was going to be here in half an hour.

Heeding Kihyun's words, I rummaged through my closet and put on the first t-shirt and pair of shorts I found in there.

I walked to the bathroom to tidy myself up before walking back into my room. I saw my snapback laying on my desk and decided to also wear it. I put on my windbreaker in case it was going to be cold and looked in the mirror.

Good enough.

I went downstairs to eat cereal for a quick breakfast and got out the house at 8:57 to wait for Kihyun.

A few minutes later, he arrived.

"Are you ready?" he asked, fixing the strap of his duffel bag. "We're going to Minhyuk's house."

I nodded my head and followed him.

When we got to Minhyuk's house, we were greeted by six boys. I bowed to them, but they said that I didn't need to with them.

Minhyuk explained that we were going to play truth or dare today. We split into two teams of four. My team included Kihyun, Hyungwon, and Jooheon. The other team had Hoseok, Changkyun, Minhyuk, and Hyunwoo. When a team was asked a question or dared to do something, everyone would have to do it within ten seconds. If one person failed to do it, then everyone on that team would get hit with a water balloon. I couldn't believe that they had so many water balloons prepared already.

Since it was getting hotter, I took off my windbreaker and tied it around my waist.

The opposing team started the game. Truth was going to be done first, so they asked a question.

They all huddled up and discussed what the question was going to be.

"Who was your first love?"

"Minhyuk! Aishhh, are you serious? I answered this question the last time we played truth or dare!" Kihyun complained.

"You will have to answer again! You have ten seconds! Ready, set, go!"

Hyungwon and Jooheon answered too quickly that I couldn't hear their responses. I answered next with childhood friend, and surprisingly, Kihyun said the same thing.

"What are we going to ask of them? If they were a girl, who would they date among us?" Jooheon asked. We nodded in agreement.

"If you were a girl, who would you date among us seven guys?" Jooheon questioned the other team. "Ten seconds! Ready? Go!"

I heard a bunch of random answers all at once and I giggled.

"Hyungwon."
"Hoseok."
"Hyunwoo hyung."

Hoseok hasn't answered yet and was blankly staring at us.

"Yah! Hyung!" Changkyun yelled at him.

"What? This is a serious question!"

"Five seconds left!"

"The question is, can I date myself?"

"YAH!" all his team members yelled.

"Your five seconds are up!" Jooheon exclaimed. All four of us reached for a water balloon and threw it at them. Hyunwoo stood in place while crossing his arms, Changkyun gave a straight face, looking annoyed, and Hoseok and Minhyuk screamed. How could it be that their screams are a higher pitch than mine, especially Hoseok's?
