BLUE

I was holding out my hand to a skeleton wearing a dark coat with white fluffy bits at the edge of the hood. His left eye was maroon with a weird red glow to it, the other eye was completely black. I could see one golden tooth hanging out of his mouth like a vampire. He looked scary, but you never know.

He sat there for a moment before responding "I'm Red, now tell me why your here." Even Red's voice was a little scary, it was medium tone, but had a rough edge to it.

"Are you deaf or something? Why. Are. You. Here?" Red demanded

"Me? I was just... looking for something..."

  "What are you looking for?"

  "A thing"

  "Less vague Mr. Obvious."

  "I, um already found it."

  "Found what!"

  "My glove!"

"Why didn't you just tell me you already found your glove? We could've skipped this whole conversation. Ugh nevermind, you can leave now."

Red sighed and sat down in the snow so I quietly sat down next to him. He looked at me, raised an eyebrow, and asked, "What do you think you're doing?"

"Sitting next to my new friend, silly!" I replied. Red stood up and took a step away from me. He looked at me and said, "Listen kid, I don't know who you are, or where you came from, but let me tell you: in here, everyone tolerates each other. Understand? In this world people don't have friends, get it? Good, now bye forever." Red started to walk off as a light snow started to fall.

People don't have friends? No one loves each other?

I looked up and Red was nearly gone. I bolted off the ground and hurried over to him.
