RED

I just couldn't move.

Couldn't think.

Couldn't even breathe.

I just watched Blue die and was waiting for him to turn to ashes.

That's all I could even do.

I waited for what felt like years but I knew was only seconds for Blue to melt into dust.

Any second now...

"Now you have nothing to come back to, Red." Frisk's voice rasped behind me.

That little mother fuc-

If Blue never made me make that promise, I would've ripped her apart in that very moment.

But, I promised I would make her stop, so I did just that.

"Kid, do you think the worst person can change? Do you think anybody can become the worst evil, or the greatest good?"

I felt Frisk tense behind me.

I continued "Do you wanna stop? Do you wanna change?" I turned around and stared Frisk directly in the eyes.

She looked like she regret every little breath she has ever taken in life.

She fell to hee knees and started crying.

Welp, my job is done... I don't have any reason to live anymore, I guess....

I set up a gaster blaster to kill me. I took one last glance around my surroundings.

Frisk seemed to having a war with herself.

The judgement hall looked as beautiful as ever.

And Blue still wasn't ashes...

I started to charge up the Gaster blaster and began to cound the seconds until the blast would be enough to kill me.

Five...

Four...

"I'm coming Blue.." I whispered to myself.

Three...

Two...

One...

I was about to fire when I heard a tiny croak behind me.

"R-Red."

I spun around and saw Blue trying to get up off the floor.

I was in complete shock.

Wha... I'm imaging things...

Blue gave me a smile that told me I waan't seeing things.

Blue isn't dead.

I had a reason to live.

I wouldn't be all alone.

I fell to my knees and hugged the crap out of him.

I held him by his shoulders and examined him. The cut in Blue's neck was almost completely healed.

But how... Unless... Gaster you sneaky little bastard!

"Blue let me see your soul."

He nodded and brought his soul out.

It was mostly blue, but in the center it had a little red glow in it.

"Oh my God, Gaster linked our souls." I said.

Blue hugged me and started to sob as he muttered "I thought I never see you again."

I hugged him back and replied "Me too."

"Time to die, asshole." Frisk said.

I shot up and turned around, making sure the death defying Blue was directly behind me.

Frisk looked nothing like how I first met her. Her eyes look so full of pain and loss, and her smile looked so inhuman and filled with complete hate. She looked a deformed monster with all the blood on her.

I knew for a fact that this wasn't the person I conviced to stop killing.
