RED

Sorry, my brain isn't working at the moment.

I managed to get my brain working again and pulled Blue back up in realization we probably needed air to function.

Damn, I didn't realize that was gonna happen...

I kept my hands around Blue's waist while he kept his on my shoulders and grinned at me the most I've seen him smile. My brain started to go all weird again.

"Red!" Blue yelled. I didn't realize he was saying my name. I snapped to attention and responded "Hm?"

"Come on! Let's watch the rest of the sunset!" Blue said as he plopped himself down on the dirt then looked up at me and tugged my hands downward, urging me to join him on the floor.

I couldn't help but smile at how cute he looked like that. "Sure." I muttered in response as I sat directly behind Blue, putting both of my legs either side of him and wrapping my arms around him pulling the smaller skeleton closer to me. Blue seemed comfortable.

"So now that everyone's free, what do we do?" Blue said out of nowhere. I thought for a moment, not giving an answer.

Umm... Crap.

"Do what probably every other monster is doing and find a place we can call ours." I replied after a few minutes of thinking. As always, Blue asked more damn questions.

"Oh! Can we live on a big farm with piggies and cows and horses an-" I cut him off saying "No, we can not." Blue seemed a little hurt, but continued with the questions until he eventually fell a sleep on me.

I glanced down at Blue and couldn't help but notice he had the slightest of smile on his face. I pulled his small body closer to me, trying my best not to wake him.

I'm never letting you go, Blue.

***SIX MONTHS LATER***

Me and Blue were walking down the busy street. Almost every human we passed I could hear them mutter an 'Aww.'. Knowing they were watching us was making me pretty uneasy, but I wasn't going to burden Blue with that knowledge.

After a few minutes of walking and me wanting to have a panic attack we stopped at the street corner we needed to turn at to get to our house.

I just kept walking forward, but of course, Blue caught on.

"Um... Red weren't we supposed to turn?"

"No."

"But isn't that the way to get home? I thought we needed to be home at eight, and Gaster said he was making something."

"I had something else in mind." I replied as we stopped in front a fancy restaurant. I turned around and watched the stars in Blue's eyes light up into a bright yellow as he realized what I was doing.

"Ohmygosh! Why didn't you tell me we were gonna go on a date! I would've worn better clothing!"

I gave Blue a quick peck on the cheek and assured "Trust me Blue, you look just perfect the way you are." making Blue's cheeks turn a light blue as I led him inside.

We walked up to a girl standing behind a podium thing who checked us in. She had light brown hair pulled in a bun and dull green eyes. She was wearing a lacy white shirt and black tights that were just a little bit to tight.

"Hello, I'm Amy! did you reserve a set for two?" the girl cheerily asked .

No, I reserved a spot on the freaking floor. Carpet for five please.
