Catching up on facts with Victor, I had learned that America had fallen and the intended infected outnumbered the living. Shaken up, by this news, I shook my head, wondering if my family was ok. "Damn it. Thanks anyways man."I said, looking back at my group, who still had not approached us, I leaned in and whispered to him. "Its about high time I introduced you to my friends. They could use somebody with your skill set." Victor, who's light skin was slightly burnt by the sun, shrugged his shoulders, and bit into the juicy meat of the pork chop I gave him.

Waving to the group,I started with Takashi. "This is Takashi Komuro. The girl with the colorful hairstyle is Katya Rivera. She's from South America." They waved at him, who nodded in acknowledgement. "This," I shifted to the right, ",is Saya Takagi, and her..." I cleared my throat. "Friend,Kohta Hirano. He's our go to gun guy." Shifting to the left, I pointed at Shizuka. "This is our Medic. Ms.Shizuka Marikawa, and the little girl hiding behind her is Alice. I rescued her after her..." I faltered off. "Yea. I'd rather not say. Anywho, this little pup," I said, snatching up Zeke from the sand. "Is Zeke. He's kinda our mascot." Zeke yapped, then licked my chin. Setting him down, I walked over to Saeko, and wrapped my arm around her waist. "And last, but not least, this is Saeko Busujima. Captain of the kendo team, and a damn good swordswoman when she gets into a fight." Saeko blushed, but didn't look away. "Guys, this is Victor Orhm. " Victor waved, still absorbed in his food, gnawing at the bone of the meat. "He's one of my old friends from America, before I came here. This guy has pulled my fat out of the fire so many times, I'm not surprised I'm not like that pork. He's one of the people who helped me with a previous problem.... It wasn't pretty."

Victor swallowed his last bit of food, and stood. "So... I see that you guys had a problem. Key word being had. Let me grab the life raft real quick." Turning briskly on his heel, he walked over to his boat, and started rummaging through it. "Its gotta be here, somewhere... Where did I... Ah Ha!" He cried, pulling out a suitcase large enough to put Alice in standing up. "Jesus, man." Takagi exclaimed, gaping as he unzipped the bag. "Your just like Hirano!" Ignoring her, Victor pulled out a spare set of clothes, and a set of knives I remember him having back across the pond. "Always prepared, man. I think I remember something... Oh yeah.." Victor whipped a nasty looking knife at my head, which I narrowly dodged, and watched as it buried itself into a tree. "That's for not saying goodbye." He grinned. "Yea. I know."

Pulling the knife out, I lobbed it back, and turned to my group, snapping back into survival mode. "OK. Now that the happy pappy time is over, let's get to work. We need to find some kind of entrance for those things to enter. Because I am sure as hell they didn't swim, or took a boat here." Takashi, looking lost in thought, suddenly snapped back. "Hold on a sec. When I was climbing the tree for coconuts, I saw the cliff face you two... slept by." He emphasized that last part, earning a double gut shot from Katya and myself. "Anywho..." he gasped. "I thought I saw a shadow on the cliff. It looked like a old mine, or cave, or something. It could be our culprit, but I'm just spit-balling here." Nodding, I looked around, making sure everyone heard. "OK. So its settled. Everyone who is still not in normal clothes, you have exactly 15 minutes, before we get moving. I think its time we tried spelunking out to our skills list."
