The New York premiere of our film went better than we could have imagined and it was nearly over. Not even ten minutes and we’d be free for a couple weeks. All of us were squirming in our seats ready to go. Louis was tapping his feet against the person in front of him. Harry was talking to Ben Winston. Zayn was asleep. Liam was lost in his phone, and I was chewing my nail; a dirty habit that I severely needed to lose.

The credits began rolling and the five of us were on our feet immediately. Everyone looked at us and then at the same moment we all remembered the bloopers. Sighing, we each took our seats again. I was ready to be out of there. Adelaide and I were definitely going back to London, but I wasn’t sure about everyone else. We never knew where Harry went. I was sure Louis and Zayn were heading back so they could be with their girlfriends. Well, Louis’ girlfriend and Zayn’s fiancé. News had broken out about that that day. I was happy for him, but I just wanted to be on that plane home. The sooner I was home, the sooner I got to be with Adelaide - well, to hang out with her.

The movie ended for real and we all got up. Harry followed Ben out and gave us all a wave before lowering his sunglasses. Zayn and Louis were headed off in their own direction. Liam and I shrugged and headed out together.

“What’re your plans?” he asked. I didn’t really have any, I just knew I was getting on a plane and Adelaide was getting on the same one and we would both be in London together. Past that I didn’t have much of a plan. “Niall?”

“Oh, I’m heading home tonight,” I replied after a moment. Liam nodded and squinted as we exited the building.

“I think I am, too,” he said. I couldn’t help but feel a little disappointed because that meant it wouldn’t just be me and Adelaide; it’d be the three of us, if not more. “Louis and Zayn, too. I think Lou and Adelaide as well. Harry’s staying and then going to L.A.” Liam kept talking, but I’d seen where Adelaide was so now I was off in another world. She’d seen me too and stopped walking with Lou.

We met up with the two of them and then we all headed back to the hotel. Liam and I had shared a room. We wound up packing and cleaning as soon as we got there and were done within an hour. Right as we were zipping up our bags, someone knocked on the door.

“I got it,” I told Liam. Jogging over, I opened the door and popped my head out. Adelaide jumped back and then started laughing. “What’s up?” She had on black leggings and an oversized navy sweater with a tiger on it.

“We’re going to grab a bite to eat,” she said. I noted how she messed with her fingers while she spoke. “And we were wondering if the two of you wanted to join us.” I held up a finger and then turned so my head was back in the room.

“Do you want to grab food with Lou and Adelaide?” I asked, knowing I was going either way. Liam nodded and went to find his shoes or something. I peeked my head back out the door. “Where do you want to meet?”
