It was Saturday morning; I woke from my sleep hearing rain hitting the window pane. I climbed over Iris and walked to the window seat to sit down. I looked outside and inspiration hit me. I put on my headphones, grabbed my keyboard, and started playing. I wrote the notes down and would then put words down later. I glanced down at Iris, she was holding my pillow; I smiled, took out my phone, and took a picture. I put my phone away when I heard a knock at the door. I opened the door and it was Jamie.

"Hey?" I whispered moving out the way for her to enter the room. I put a finger over my mouth signaling for her to be quiet.

"I just came by to thank… Why is Iris in your bed?" she whispered to me.

"I don't mind, she fell asleep there. Now you said you were here to thank me." I whispered back.

"Oh, yes I was. I wanted to thank you for helping me yesterday, I hope you don't mind."

"No it's okay, I don't mind."

"Are those pieces to the second part of your song?"

"Yeah, I actually just started this morning. If you wouldn't mind I'd like to continue."

"Oh sure, I'll just get going."

"See you later Jamie." I said shutting the door behind as she left. I walked back to the window seat and sat down. I was about to put my headphones back on but Iris said something.

"What was that?" I said.

"Serves her right." I laughed at what she said. I got up from the seat and walked over to her.

"Next time you should say it to her face." I replied leaning over to kiss her forehead. She slapped my arm. "Do you want breakfast?" I asked.

"Yeah."

"Let's go then." She sat up on the bed. I grabbed her hand. "Come on." I gave her a pair of my sweats and one of my hoodies. We finally walked downstairs to the cafeteria. I grabbed some pancakes for the both of us and walked over to the table. I set the food down the sat down.

"Man Riley you're changing her." Joni stated.

"How so?" I asked before taking a bite of the pancake.

"One thing, darlin' she never wears sweats." Taye said.

I just smiled and toke another bite of my pancake. "Well if I wasn't for Jamie this morning we probably wouldn't be down here."

"Jamie was at your room this morning?"

"Yeah, while I was playing this morning and Iris was asleep."

"What was she there for?"

"To thank me for yesterday, then she just got too nosey."

"How?"

"First she wanted to know why Iris was on my bed, and then she tried to read my music. Oh and before she came in I toke this really cute picture of Iris."

"What?" Iris asked blushing slightly.

"You wanna see it?" I said pulling out my phone, going through my media to find pictures, then clicking on the picture, and then I showed Iris. Her eyes went wide and her blush deepens.

"Don't show them that." She whispered.

"Why not? You look so cute holding my pillow."

"Just eat your pancakes."

I finished eating the pancakes that Iris didn't want. I got up to put the tray away, and came back to the table. "I'm gonna go back to the room. Iris you wanna come or are you gonna stay."

"I'll come." She said getting up. "We'll see you guys later." She said to the girls. I grabbed her hand pulling her along. She blushed.

"You should really stop doing that."

"Doing what?"

"Blushing like that. Someone is bound to find out if you keep on blushing like that."

"I can't help it, you do the sweetest things when we're alone, and when we're in front of our friends you guys like to tease me."

"They were teasing you before we were together ."

"I know but not this bad." She said as we got to the door. I walked in and went straight for my bed. I laid down and snuggled into my blanket. "What about me?" Iris pouted.

"Oh come on." I said opening up the blanket.

The weekend was pretty much like that. I woke up the next Monday to find myself alone in the room. I saw a not on Iris' bed. It read:

My parents called, they told me that I am going to be going to public school in less than a month. Trust me I don't wanna go and I wouldn't if my parents weren't forcing me. I think they found out about us somehow, they wouldn't just tell me this out of nowhere. I've probably been on the tour for over an hour.

I set the note down grabbed a jacket and a comforter and walked up to the tour. It took me a while hauling this big comforter up the stairs. I opened the last door that lead outside. A cold breeze hit my face. I walked until I found where Iris sat. I sat down next to her and placed the comforter around us both. I pulled her closer to me.

"Everything is going to be alright." I whispered.

"How, I'm going to be gone and you're going to be stuck here."

"I'll come and find you if I have to. You can call me whenever you want."

"Yeah, but for a while I won't get to hold you, or kiss you, or even listen to you play."

"We'll find a way. For now let's just make the best of it." I said leaning down to kiss her square on the mouth. I tipped her head back just a little to give me more access. I parted her lips with my tongue. "It's going to be alright." I whispered once more.

A/N: I know this chapter is it that long but the next chapter will be super long.
