Childhood Friend

"Y/N! Look what I found!" Colby runs up to you holding a weed.

"Colby, that's a weed" He gives it to you, and you look at it.

"No! It's not! It's a wish!" He takes it back and grabs your hand, dragging you to the field covered with them "A wish I tell you!"

You role your eyes, smiling. For a six year old, he's pretty persistent. Your were exactly one year younger than him, and you've been close friends when you first met.. Witch was a park full of dandelions.

"Right, a wish." He faces you and blows the weed into your face, the seeds fly's off of the plant and goes into the wind, some occasionally going into your hair.

"See! And my wish was... that, this plants seeds would go in your hair!" He gets closer and starts to pick out seeds that landed in your hair. "See, what did I tell you. It's a wish." He smiles.

"Ok, I believe that's a wish" after he finished you bent down to get one of your own. You blow it just like he did, some flying into the wind and landing in his hair. "And my wish is that the seeds would land in your hair too" you smile holding up the plant with no 'flourage'.

"Hey that was my wish! Y/N! You can't do that" He tackles you onto the ground, carefully so you don't hit your head. The wind blows, making the weeds loose there seeds.

They fly around you both, Colby's eyes look into yours then he looks up at the sky, the seeds flying around. You do the same. Soon he gets off and sits beside you.

You prop yourself up with your elbows, looking at the sky some more, you then sit up properly. You both are silent, your hair was blowing in the wind and Colby's as well, but not as wild as yours.

"This is fun" Colby looks at you with is bright blue eyes.

You nod and smile.

"Y/N, Colby? Whare did you two run off?" Your mom was searching for you both.

"Were over here mommy!" You both stand up and put your hands up, flagging her down.

"Ah there you guys are" she walks over to you two. "We have to go now" your mother said smiling.

"Ok Mrs. L/N {Last Name} " Colby smiles at your mother then back at you.

You all walk towards your van, you get into your car seat, buckling up. You have some trouble, and Colby helps you the best he can.

Your mom drops Colby off at his home. As your mom pulls out of his driveway you wave at him with a smile, you role down the window "See you next week!" You keep waving.

"Ok Y/N! I had fun!" He smiles and turns around walking into his house. You lay back against the seat, smiling.
