"Hey. I need to talk to you about something." Colby texted you. It was normal to have texts from him, he was your best (guy) friend. "Can you pick up?" He texted again. "Y/N this is important. I need to talk to you about Y/BF/N."

You automatically knew what he was talking about. Y/BF/N was the type of guy when needed everything to go his way. And when it didn't, he'd toss his anger towards you. You'd think it would stop if you talked to him. But it didn't.

One time he didn't get to see your phone. Which led to him taking it away from your hands. Later he found out you were talking to Colby, and told you to immediately end the "friend" relationship.

You wanted to leave, but you didn't want to seam pathetic. As though
Y/BF/N already said you were without him.

Colby cared about you , always telling you to leave his sorry butt. But it was scary to leave him.

Colby: "Y/N please text me now." Colby texted again. You answer.

You: "Yeah? What do you want."

Colby: "We need to talk about him. We have to now. It's out of hand."

You: "No we don't. I'm fine."

Then Colby called. You knew why he was calling, Colby cared about a lot. Maybe even more then Y/BF/N. You didn't answer. He called again. You didn't answer. Next was the text.

Colby: "Y/N, answer the damn phone! I need to talk to you, answer the call now! Please!

Colby never raised his voice towards you. But it was a text and you k we he was raising his voice. Colby started a call again and you didn't answer.

Colby: "Y/N I swear to god. Answer the damn phone!"

You: "Stop telling at me.. Your acting like Y/BF/N..."

Colby: "That is what I need to talk to you about.. Y/N, I know your not happy with him. It sickens me to see you around him. I hate. Hate. Seeing you with him and how he treats you. You don't deserve it. Y/N, I will love you more then he ever. Ever. Will. "

You: "Colby.."

Colby: "I want you to be mine. You don't know how badly. I will treat you better than Y/BF/N. Be mine. Be mine
Y/N. please."

You: "You don't know how long I've been waiting for you to say those words.. Colby, I've been waiting so long for you to save me. I just needed saving, from you."

Colby: "I know I can treat you better. Than he can. I love you, Y/N. "

You. You were happy now. Safe. And in love.
