New Friend

"Ok class, today we are getting a new student." Claps fill the air as the director speaks. Whispers soon suggest what instrument the new student plays. Alto saxophone, berry saxophone, trumpet, tuba. "Mrs. Lee, please bring her in here"

She soon brings in a small girl, holding a case, and a tight posterior, trying to make a good impression. "Ladies and gentlemen, this is (Y/ N) , she came here from Ohio. I'm sure you guys will make her feel at home?" We all noded, some of us starring.

"Thank you Mrs. Lee" and with that she scurries off closing the door behind her. (Y/ N) stays there in the same spot she was introduced in. "Well (Y/ N), what do you play?" Her head looks up, finding the voice that spoke.

"Fl-flute. Sir." She squeaks.

"Would you like to play something to show us what you have?" She then nods, and scoots her way to the front of the band, slowly pulling out her pieces.

I smile and look around the room, trying to see what Sam thinks about a new girl.

I turn my head back to look at (Y/ N) as she already has her instrument out, and is now looking for some type of music that she could do.

Then it's silent. And the sound from her flute travels around the room. Not an even messed up note.

After she's done she bowes down and goes back up. "That was very beautiful!" She smiles at her accomplishment, and looks at the different kids in the row. "You are going to love it here, (Y/ N), now, Colby? Where are you at?"

As my name get called I give full eye contact, soon raising my hand. "(Y/ N) please go sit next to Colby." He smiles, then she douse too.

Once she sits down her breathing goes still. She's comfortable.
"Hi, my name is Colby" I put my hand out to her and she looks at me, soon puttering her and out to shake mine.

"(Y/ N)" she smiles.

As days go on, we hang out more, with Sam.

Let's just say something eels was blossoming.
