Water Parks

The first day of summer was always something you'd look forward to every year. The hot days were what excited you the most all because water parks and amusement parks were opening their gates, awaiting guests of all ages.

The rays of sun always seemed to kiss your skin to make you a nice golden or leave you agonizing pain for days on end. Summer was your favorite season next to Fall, Winter, then spring.

By now you were standing in a line holding one of the free givin' inner tubes along side your boyfriend, Colby.  "Pumped am I right!?" He grinned grasping the double inner tube with a bit of bounce in his step.

"Totally! Gosh, I haven't been here in forever!" The line moved up, you helped drag the tube up the narrow steps. "Last time I was here it was last year."

Colby nodded glancing behind your head then back to your eyes and smiled.  You grinned leaning over to hug his slender body.

After a few more minutes you found yourself sitting in the front slot and Colby sitting behind you, placing his legs by your head. Soon, you two were being pushed down, twists and turns greeted you along with colorful patterns placed strategically on the hard plastic.

Both of you let out happy shouts until the ride came to an end and you falling out with the impact with the water and your speed. You laughed standing up, yet trying to catch your breath.

"Oh my God baby!" Colby laughed hopping out of the tube and then to your side with his arm around your waist, keeping you with him, since you were dissociation.  Yet you still laughed wiping the water way from your eyes the eventually​ you two made it to the stairs and away from the ride. 

"That was a knocker!" You jumped leaning into Colby. He nodded kissing the top of your head.

"Ok, what's next baby? Wave pool?" You nodded running ahead a bit, you could tell Colby was running after you, dodging other guests, a few profanity words were thrown towards you two, neither of you cared at all.

It was a blessing, being able to run around with the rushing sound of water, screams/laughter, and a warm breeze. You finally stopped running meeting the waves of the fake ocean. He made it next to your body, grasping his hand. "Ready? One.. Two.. Three!"

Both of you ran at the moment making it towards the waves as they got bigger and dodged little kids as they floated. You stopped finding it harder to move your legs, strong arms wrapped around your waist pulling your body close, then lifted out.

You screamed flailing your legs and attached your hands to the arms that held you, becoming familiar skin. Colby.

Colby let go tossing you into a wave. One you surfaced you yelled. "Cole Robert Brock! That's no way to treat your girlfriend!" You could hear his laughter and feel his arms bringing you closer again.

"Hey hey." He kissed your forehead, "I just wanted to keep it interesting." Colby shrugged. "How'd I do?"

"Pretty good I guess.. What am I supposed to say?" you glanced over at him and jumped a wave.

"Y/N, just that you enjoyed my arms being wrapped around you and being thrown in the wave." He grinned holding your body to his chest.

The waves died down. You crouched in the water so did Colby. Both of you talked about other little things until the waves kicked back up again and died.

Hours were spent in the park until either of you were tired of walking or just water, period.

One of the best summer days you could spend, in the sun, and with your boyfriend.
