Goodbye Summer (Completed)

Chapter 2

Taeyeon woke up bright and early.
She went to the kitchen and saw Joongki on the counter eating ice cream.
"Ice cream for breakfast? Yum!!"
She opened the freezer, but he closed it.
Taeyeon glared at him.
"You never asked if you can have one."
He said with no emotion.
The only thing that Taeyeon dislike about Joongki is his cold self.
Sometimes he can be mean to her then the next day he's nice.
"Whatever, Joongki."
Taeyeon said and at that same time she saw Brenda outside smoking a cigarette.
Joongki was watching his mom too, he's not surprised at all.
"She's been smoking a lot lately."
He told her.

Taeyeon went out on the porch and sat down on the stairs with Brenda.
"Are you stressed out?"
Taeyeon asked which made Brenda jump a little.
She threw the cigarette far away and faked a smile.
"Nope. Have you gone swimming yet?"
Brenda changed the subject.
Taeyeon went along with the conversation.
"I did at the beach with Baek."
Brenda smirked.
"I've noticed my boy. I think he likes you."
Taeyeon laughed, "I just arrived yesterday. He's like my best friend. What makes you think that?"
Brenda shrugged and stood up.
"You should go for a swim in the pool."
Taeyeon agreed.

The sun warms her back, Taeyeon is sure that by the end of the day she's going to get a tan.
Someone splashed her with a bucket of water.
She took her sunglasses off and shouted, "Kyungsoo!!!"
Of course her evil brother would do anything to disturb her relaxation.
Taeyeon dived in the pool and swam like a professional swimmer.
Her swimsuit is not what she would usually wear.
This year she wore a bikini, for the first time at the Byun's house.
"I wonder what Joongki's reaction might be like?"
She thought about the scene in her mind and smiled.
Baekhyun and Joongki always treated her like a sister, and she hates it.
They always tease her, make fun of her, but now that she's all grown up she hopes that their behavior will change.
She floated on her back and closed her eyes.
Someone jumped in the pool and ruined her relaxation again.
It was Joongki, and he did some freestyles in the pool.
Someone pulled Taeyeon's leg underwater and almost drowned her.
She kicked the person in the water and swam to the wall.

"Baekhyun! You freak! You almost gave me a heart attack."
Taeyeon got out of the pool and sat down on a chair.
She dried herself and watched Joongki and Baekhyun playing around in the pool.
"They're so immature."
She mumbled.

After a few minutes, no one was in the pool.
They ate their lunch and tanned.
Taeyeon couldn't help but notice Joongki's muscles.
She was obviously drooling, and Baekhyun wiped it off of her face.
Taeyeon came back to reality and thanked him.
Baekhyun on the other hand just noticed what she was wearing.
"You know bikini is not your style."
He said which made her blush.
Taeyeon took her towel and covered herself.
"I'm just kidding. You look hot."
Taeyeon blushed even more.
"Stop flirting, Baek. It doesn't suit you. You're suppose to be mommy's boy."
She said sarcastically.
Baekhyun stayed quiet.
"I was just kidding."
Taeyeon laughed at him, but he ignored her and went back inside the house.
