Goodbye Summer (Completed)

Chapter 7

The Byun's house was quiet.
No one swam in the pool.
No one ate ice cream.
Everyone was dead in the inside.
Tiffany left the Byun's house to go to England a few days ago.
Mr. Byun came back for the funeral a month ago and still had to go to work.
It was only Joongki, Baekhyun, Kyungsoo and Taeyeon in the house.
Taeyeon had a mental breakdown when Baekhyun told her that Brenda is dead.
Kyungsoo the oldest one had to do something and comforted each of them.

Joongki has not been himself these days.
He rarely goes outside and even eat.
Baekhyun tried to move on, but he just can't.
Taeyeon witnessed the two brothers who were so close slowly having no interaction everyday.
She had to do something to knock some common sense into them.
It's been a month of depression and she's had enough of it.
Joongki went upstairs and is about to lock himself in his room once again, but Taeyeon blocked his bedroom door.
"Move."
He said in an angry tone.
"No. Unless you change your attitude then you can enter."
Joongki forced her to move by pushing her out of the way.
Taeyeon grabbed his arm to make him stop.
"Look at you. Your eyes are so red, you barely get any sleep. Joongki, I want to help you. If you just let me..."
He pushed her into a wall and she was trapped by his arms on both sides blocking her escape.
Taeyeon can see the sadness in his eyes.
She's never seen him like this before and it breaks her heart.
"And what can you do? Nothing!"
Joongki shouted, but Taeyeon is not afraid.
"The past is behind us. Move on already, Joongki. You're suppose to show Baekhyun that you're there for him as well. Stop acting like this. You're not the only one who's crying their heart out."
Taeyeon wants to cry, but she has to be strong.
"Just let me help you."
She spoke calmly.
Joongki raised his eyebrow.
"And how are you going to do that?"
Taeyeon took that as a challenge.
She simply can't think of anything.
Then it hit her.
"With this..."
She grabbed his neck and kissed him.
Joongki wrapped his arms around her and opened the door to his room without breaking the kiss.
They were still kissing and they landed on his bed.
He was on top of her, and they stopped for a minute and looked at each other.
"Do you still like me?"
Joongki asked her and Taeyeon was surprised.
"How did you find out?"
He smiled and took a strand of her hair from her face and puts it behind her ear.
Taeyeon blushed.
"6 years ago. Kyungsoo told me."
She's shocked by this.
"Kyungsoo you will pay for this..."
She said in her head.
They're still in the same position.
Taeyeon was about to sit up, but Joongki stopped her.
"So do you still like me?"
Joongki asked one more time, Taeyeon wants to say yes but now she's not so sure anymore.
"You like Baekhyun now don't you? That selfish brat."
Taeyeon feels bad, she thought that her crush on Joongki will last forever.

"I'm not a selfish brat."
They turned to where the voice came from.
Baekhyun stood with his fists clenched by the door.
Joongki looked back at Taeyeon and kissed her.
Taeyeon was taken by surprise and tried to stop him.
Baekhyun grabbed Joongki and pulled him away from her.
Not only that but he punched him.
"Joongki, stop forcing her to like you. In fact you expect for every girl to like you."
Joongki wiped the blood from his mouth and grabbed Baekhyun's collar.
"STOP!"
Taeyeon shouted, but they still continued.
"Well, does it hurt you that Taeyeon has liked me for 6 years? Clearly we know who she really likes."
Baekhyun lowered his head and looked at Taeyeon who has her eyes wide open.
"Then why don't we just ask her?" Baekhyun suggests and Joongki listened.
"Taeyeon, who do you like?"
Joongki asked her.
Taeyeon never imagined for this situation to happen.

"What is this, some twilight sh*t?"
Kyungsoo proclaimed as he entered Joongki's room.
"Joongki stop acting so immature. Baekhyun stop acting as if she's going to pick you. Both of you get out. Let me talk to my sister."
It's a good thing that Kyungsoo is the older one, the both of them exit the room and Kyungsoo closed the door.

Woah. Joongki and Taeyeon moment there. And jealous Baekhyun. Hmm...I wonder who Taeyeon really likes?
