~Your POV~
After that "incident", I couldn't sleep. It was just stressing me out too much...
I got up, got dressed, and started roaming the streets of Konoha. As I walked, hands in the pockets of my (f/c) jacket, I saw the glowing lights of all the shops as I passed by.
I smiled as I passed Ichiraku's, I don't know why, but that's already my favorite place here. It just felt so-- welcoming.
I made my way to the darker end of Konoha, only the moonlight as a source of direction. I still couldn't get out of my head what Akuma said...
I was snapped out of my thoughts as I heard the sound of someone moving around- more like training.
I looked to my right to see a familiar figure punching and kicking at the air. "Hey, Lee..!" I waved.
He stopped, noticed where I was standing, and smiled. "Hello (Y/n)! What are you doing out here at this time?"
I hesitated for a minute, but then calmed down. "Couldn't sleep. I just decide to take a walk around," I lied. Well, for the most part.
"Oh, I'm doing some midnight training! It helps keep up your energy!" He grinned, giving me another thumbs up.
I just laughed a little, and said my goodbye as he continued Training. And I continued my walk around Konoha Village.
~Lee's POV~
I felt guilty for lying to (Y/n). I was actually out here because I couldn't stop thinking about what she told me.
"My parents never were very fond of me... Knives and any sort of weapon was used. I was beat countless times for little mistakes I made. I was basically their personal punching bag..."
The words kept repeating in my head. As I Trained, and the more I thought about what she said, every one of my punches kept getting stronger and stronger with anger.
What did she ever do to deserve any of that? I instantly stopped, and just stared up at the moon. There's more too her than she says... I can see it in her eyes.
I punched a tree and a huge crack ran up it's side. I brushed away the splinters that poked into my hand.
Then I Round-House kicked it and it split right in half. I pulled back my foot with heavy breathing.
"The thought still bothering you?" I turned around to see Gai-Sensei standing there with his arms folded and a serious yet sincere look.
I hung my head without a word. He placed a hand on my shoulder, causing me to look up. He gave me a smile of both sympathy and confusion.
"She means a lot to yah, doesn't she?" He asked.
"I just want to help her is all, but I feel like there's something she isn't telling me. Or anybody else,"
"Lee, it takes time for people like (Y/n) to get used to being fully open with people,"
I nodded, showing that I understood. "Hai! Gai-Sensei, I will be heading home for the night now!" I bowed, now sprinting off to my house.
As I was running, I saw (Y/n) walking down the street. "(Y/n)! Hey!" I waved.
She turned around an stopped. "Hey Lee! I thought you were Training?"
"Yes, but then I had a talk with Gai-Sensei, and I decided to head home," I smiled with a shrug.
"Okay then! Well, I was just going to Ichiraku's! Considering that I haven't eaten dinner yet," she laughed. "You wanna join me?"
"Sure! I could use a bite after all that Training!"
And with that, we walked to the Ichiraku Ramen stand. Once we got there, we ordered our bowls and talked about random topics.
Once our Ramen was served, we broke apart our Chop-Sticks and dug in. And as always, it was delicious..!
Once (Y/n) was done, she drank all the broth and sighed. "It's only my second time here, and I already think it's my favorite!"
"I cannot disagree with that! This place never fails to make one happy!" I smiled as I finished the rest of my bowl.
"You two keep this up and you might just surpass Naruto as our favorite customers!" Teuchi grinned from behind the counter.
"I wouldn't say that! I mean, I only just got here a few days ago..! And Naruto's probably eaten here at least a hundred times..!" (Y/n) laughed.
"Well, that is true..! But no matter when you come, you always have a bright smile on your face and a compliment to give!" Ayame smiled, drying off a plate.
(Y/n) had a light blush across her face of embarrassment. "Well--!" She shrugged, but couldn't come up with any more words to say.
We all just laughed and enjoyed the next half hour just talking and laughing. "Well, I better get going..! Who knows what kind of Training Gai-Sensei will have for us tomorrow..? See yah Lee!" (Y/n) waved as she placed money on the counter and ran off in the direction of her house.
I did the same, leaving money on the counter for my bowl and ran home. I still couldn't help but think about what she said...
But as I was running I pushed that thought off to the side. That's her business, and if she doesn't want it to be known, then why am I one to judge?
I made it to my house and flopped onto my bed, setting an alarm for 5:30 a.m. And I then drifted off to sleep.
~Your POV~
I made it too my house, unlocked the door, and walked in. It smelled a little dusty in here, so I lit a (fave flavor) scented candle and placed it on my windowsill.
I walked too my room and set my alarm for 5:30 in the morning. I chose (fave song) to play when it goes off, and jumped into bed.
I lay there for about 5 minutes before I finally fell asleep into the wonderful dreamland of unconsciousness...
Yay! Another update! So, what do you think so far? Both good and bad opinions are appreciated! And as always, I will see you in the next chapter..! BUH-BYE!!
