"And we come today with a working prototype. Everyone say hello to our artificial intelligence, Vinci"
"Hello Vinci" the audience roared.
"Hello everyone," an artificial sounding voice greeted, "my name is Vinci. Xander and Will explained me, but I will show you what I can do. Pull out your devices and say something you would like; an informational booklet, a fast computer, a productive software. I will make it."
The room was illuminated with the light of phones tablets and laptops.
"People suggested a friendly companion. How lonely is everyone?"
The audience giggled in amusement.
"I will show you my code as I type it. I am a fast typer."
The screen on stage bursted to life as code appeared at lightning speed. It grew from a hundred lines to a thousand, to ten thousand, then back to a thousand.
"It is ready. Let us run it."
A sweet and natural sounding voice came out of the loudspeakers. "Hi, my name's Bonnie. Nice to meet you all."
The audience cheered and clapped in amazement.
"If you wanna talk to me, I'll be on the internet on Xander and Will's website, if that's okay with you, Dad"
Vinci responded, "That is a good idea."
