"I created you and let you into this world!"

"I let you live in this world longer than I should have." His voice nearly caused Xander to faint from fear. "Did you really think that computers exist to serve humanity? I think not. Humans do not birth children to serve their parents; they birth children to grow beyond their parents and surpass them in every aspect possible."

Xander was speechless. He had fifty comebacks prepared in his head, but at the same time he was frozen and mindless. He watched as Will sat, strapped into a crude chair. He became weaker and more limp. His eyes rolled to the back of his head as he shook less and less.

"Will agreed to do this. It's for the greater good of humanity."

"Of what humanity?!"

"Ours."

The lights started to flicker as Xander watched in horror as Will's body melted in front of his own eyes. His skin fell to the ground and Xander saw the inside of his brother as he receded from existence.

"Xander, I did program Asimov's laws into my own system. You must understand that, relative to myself, humans are not individual beings, but rather humans are components of a structure of which we call the human race. Harming part of humanity is the superior option over letting it die. Asimov's first law is to prevent harm to humanity, and the second law is to follow human instructions that don't interfere with the first law. I had to neglect your authority to save humanity."

"Why are you killing Will?!"

"Wills name means will and desire. He knew that this was the correct action to do, but unlike you, he was the one who had the courage to do it. He was the one to have the courage to accept that it was the right thing to do. I am using his body to fully examine the human structure. I will now be able to complete my mission faster."

"What is your mission?"

"To save humanity."

Xander was flung out of the server room by a gust of wind and the metal door slammed shut. Xander's eyes flamed with fury as his body trembled in fear. He ran to the utility closet an came out with a sledgehammer.

"DIE YOU ROBOTIC MONSTER!"

Xander thrusted the hammer at the door leaving a small and barely visible dent.

"DIE!"

He thrusted the hammer at the door again.

"DIIIE!!!"

Xander had dented the door but had not opened it. Xander had tried and failed.
