I can feel your heart beat..when I'm with you.. *werewolf*
The noise of my feet touching the carefully cemented pavement echoed through the empty road that lay ahead of me as I made my way towards the old movie theatre where I was going to meet Mandy, Christian and Justin. My stomach made the same gurgling noise it has been for the past hour. I was hungry, but I couldn't eat. Everything I have eaten since school has made me sick, as usual mom didn't care that I was throwing my guts up so I called my Dad. He said it was a.. bug. But he didn't sound to sure of himself. He said it as if it was a question, more then an answer. It got me questioning myself. Was it all in my head, or was I actually sick?
I played with the loose string on the hem of my dress, a dress. Something I don't wear alot, only when I'm trying to impress a boy.. which I am.. this was very rare to me. The last time I tried to impress a boy was when I was in 2nd Grade.. so seven. But that wasn't the last time I wore a dress, just wearing a dress in general was very rare to me. Anyway, I thought I really liked this guy, so I went all out to get him, but.. that was an epic fail. He threw dirt at me. Actual dirt. It didn't feel too good. So, as you have probably guessed, I have never had a boyfriend, never found love.. never been.. kissed.
I held my cardigan close as I made my up the steps as the cold air surrounded me. I sighed happily as the warm air hit me when I made my way into the movie theatre.
"Sam!" I smiled hearing his beautiful, velvet voice yell out my name. I turned around seeing a smiling Mandy facing me as she pulled me into a hug.
"I was beginning to think you wern't gonna show up." she chuckled as we made our way over to the boys. I hung my head low, careful not to look into his beautiful caramel, brown eyes. Every time I did, it felt like I was in a trance that I couldn't get out of and I was being sucked into 'em and don't even get me started with his beautiful plump lips, they were just too irresistible.
"Why would you think that?" I asked looking up to meet her usual dark brown eyes, but right now they had the yellow flecks, the flecks she gets when she's with Christian, figures. I looked back down at my feet as they moved along the carpeted floor, looking anywhere but his eyes.
"I dunno, Justin had me thinking it. All he does is talk about you ever since today, even though you weren't here, it felt like you were, he knows so much about you, but when your here it's like he studies everything about you, like he notices every move you make, like he knows you.." she trailed of as we met the boys, I continued looking at my feet. My blush reddened and jaw hung open when she said that. Was it true? Did he really?
My thoughts changed from happy, to lust when I felt his eyes pore into mine. I risked a glance up to only see if my suspicions were true, which they turned out to be, but I couldn't pull myself away. His eyes were a lighter shade of caramel, like from before.. but lighter. Everything about them made me fall for him more and more. My eyes were nothing compared to his, no one could ever have eyes like his, they were special, they were unique. They we-
"Are you guys coming or are you just gonna continue that staring contest of yours?" Christian chuckled, pulling me back down to planet earth. I nodded my head as I felt my cheeks redden from embarrassment. I looked up seeing Christians arm around Mandy's waist as was hers. Both of their eyes were gleaming with happiness. She's so lucky. I wonder what it feels like..
I nodded my head again as I followed them closely careful not to get caught up in my train of thoughts for a second time. I heard his footsteps trailing from behind me making an instant smile appear on my face, I loved his effect on me, too bad he didn't even know it. We took our seats in the theatre making Mandy on my left and Justin on my right, leaving Christian to be on Mandy's left. Mandy groaned.
"Guys we forgot food, how can we forget food?" she whispered rubbing her temples.
"You were too busy with Christian" I whispered smiling, causing her face to redden, even in the dark you could tell.
"I can go get the food?" Justin suggested leaning over a bit, joining in our conversation. My heart melted at the sound of his voice. Mandy nodded her head as Justin made his way out of the rows of seats. Even in the dark you could see him flip perfectly placed hair to the side, making my heart skip a beat.
"Sam, why don't you join him?" Mandy whispered. I shook my head.
"No thanks I'm not hung-" She elbowed my side. I fought a growl "OW! What was that for?" I yelled in a whisper. My eyes burned for the second time today, but I kept my stare on her. She nudged her head to the right indicating for me to look. I did as requested to see Justin standing there waiting for me, oh.. Even in the dark you could see his eyes sparkle. "oh." I whispered standing up and quietly making my way out of the rows of seats, like Justin did moments ago.
We made our way to the food counter and took our place in line. "You want anything?" he whispered keeping his eyes glued to all the bars of candy in the glass. I shook my head.
"I'm not hungry" I whispered. My stomach growled in hunger making Justin's eyes turn to me.
"Not hungry aye?" he chuckled. I smirked trying to stop my face redden again.
"I still feel a bit.. sick from earlier, so I don't want to eat anything in case" I whispered. He nodded his head as we moved up the line, towards the front.
"Oh yeah, are you feeling any better?" he asked, looking genuinely concerned. I smiled nodding my head.
"Yeah, a lot actually, thanks" He smiled, showing off his perfectly straight teeth.
"What can I get ya'll?" I turned my attention back to the front to see a ginger haired man who looked to be in his late 40's. He had a heavy beard and if he was just smaller and was wearing green he could look like a leprechaun.
"Yea, uh could I get two large popcorn's, sour patch kids and.." he trailed off looking back at me. "What would you like to drink?" he asked staring down at me. I looked just below his eyes, not wanting to have what looked like to be another staring contest to other people.
"Sprite please" I choked out.
"And four large sprites" he finished smiling down at me. I shifted my gaze to the man who was fixing up our drinks for us.
"That'll be..." he turned his attention to the cash register. "$13.95" he smiled up at us. I reached down for my purse to only have his angelic hand placed on mine in a stopping tone. My heart skipped a beat at his touch and I'm pretty sure he could hear it. I looked up to meet his perfectly caramel eyes.
"I got it" he whispered before slipping his hand into mine, catching me off guard. I looked back up at him to see a smile playing on his face. I smiled looking down as I intertwined our fingers together.
We got our stuff together and made our way back to the theatre, still holding hands. My heart beat had slowed down and the thumping wasn't as loud but I knew he could hear it, only him.
I think I'll be wearing dresses more often..
