Time is running out? What did that mean? Who was the mysterious text from and why was time running out? These questions raced through Luka's head as he tried to decipher the riddle of the message.

The car door slammed shut as Zoey slid across the back into the middle, leaning over and placing her chin on Luka's seat. She reached for the stereo and turned it up. 'Stressed Out' by Twenty-One Pilots came on, she started to sing along to the music. Peter joined in when it came up to the chorus, Luka sat back still weirded out buy the stranger and the text.
"Hey? Luki, you okay?" Zoey spoke over the blaring music, still swaying away at it.
"Wish we could turn back time, to the good ol' days!" Luka began to join in to the singing, trying to avoid the question knowing he wouldn't be able to lie about. He's never been able to keep anything from her, anything anyone told him her would tell her. The only thing he never told her was the way her felt about her, his lust to be more then just friends.
As the song started to fade Peter turned the radio down, Zoey nudged Luka with her chin; gesturing for him to answer her question. He turned to look at her; their faces only centimetres apart. He looked into her eyes as she smiled, Luka poked his tongue out at her.
"You both are children," Peter expressed while still driving. "You know that right?"
Zoey sat back; breaking the attachment the two had. Luka cleared his voice turning back around.
"If only," Zoey responded with a light giggle. "I'd rather play child games then have to study for exams."
"Ha, it's not like we're studying anyway," Luka snickered turning back to her as she smiled. He loved to make her happy. Regarding that her life was screwed up; close to resembling Luka's.
She looked down at her phone studying at the text she had just receive; Luka turned around and opened his phone. The text was sitting there; all mysterious and intimidating. The rest of the ride was full of silence with the soft harmony coming from the radio; giving a warm feeling throughout the car.

-30 Minuets later-
The doors of the Mercedes Benz closed shut as the three walked towards what seemed to be a gathering of people around a bonfire. When the group finally arrived to the greeting smell of tobacco and alcohol, Zoey ran towards a group of girls close to the fire; Peter walked off towards a big green esky cooler to grab himself and Luka a beer. Luka looked around the forest area of witch they were at, the vibe was intense; if only Lily was here she'd have the time of her life. Peter came back over with two Bud Lights in his hand, Alexander trudging behind. As he freed Peter from the cold drink Luka stepped towards Alex receiving a pound hug from him.
"Hey dude what's up?" Alexander said with a slur in his voice; he had obviously been drinking.
"Well lets see," Luka responded with fury in his statement. "Where do I begin; to put it bluntly shit hit the fan."
"Damn mann.." Alexander initiated but pausing; all the while a tall young blond walked passed. Alex walked off ignoring the fact he was in the middle of talking.
"Well then," Luka tuned to Peter. "Guess he hasn't changed, anyway let's go sit down."
Luka and Peter approached a dark oak log, were Zoey had moved to within the time. The boys sat down in curiosity; she'd never sit by herself at places like this unless there was a reason. Luka focused on the flames as each one shifted with the wind, Zoey placed her head on his shoulder. He broke his focus and turned toward her, a tear fell from her frosted cherry cheek. She moved closer to him, wrapping her arms around his lower torso. Luka's heart began to race; he settled his head on top of hers looking toward Peter.
Peter had meet up with his girlfriend Callie, she was sitting on his lap; the both of them looking into the fire.
"Its not too cold tonight," Callie proclaimed looking towards Luka.
He just nodded and placed his head back on Zoey's, another tear fell from her cheek. Luka threw is arm around her small body, he gave her a side hug and lifted his head again.
"What's wrong?" He whispered gently, looking down at her. She lifted her head revealing the tears falling from her face.
"I miss him." She said while placing her head back. Luka took a deep breath in.
"I know," he replied holding her tighter. "I know."
"Does it stop? The pain, dose it ever stop?" She sobbed, tightening her grip around his torso.
"I don't think it ever stops, I guess sooner or later you get use to it." Luka responded as a tear fell from his eye, it reminded him of Lilly.
They sat there for 10 minuets staring into the fire; the others around them there were drinking, dancing and smoking. But they were still and quiet. Alexander started to walk over to his friends, trying to find his footing. He obviously was more then drunk, he was wasted.
"Hey what are you's doing?" Alexander slurred while casually tripping over his own feet, falling onto the log in between Peter and Callie. Mud whipped up onto Peter
"DUDE! Really?" Peter exclaimed, standing up wiping the mud off his dark blue jeans.
Zoey lifted her head up from Luka's shoulder after falling asleep not to long after they talked, she wiped her eyes and turned to Alex who was now half lying on the log and half on the cold dirt. Zoey stood up shaking whatever sleep was left in her and helped Alex up. Luka helped as it was clear Zoey was incapable of lifting a 190 bound built jock, he threw Alexander's arms around his shoulders and lifted him from the ground. Zoey let go; rushing to Peter's Mercedes Benz opening the back door.
"Duuuuude..." Alexander slurred into Luka's ear.
"What?" Luka said struggling to carry the jock.
"Sorry for the moment breaker...you and Zoey looked comfy," Alexander retorted, raising his voice slightly.
"Shhhh!" Luka whispered, hoping Zoey hadn't herd him.
Luka got to the car and loaded Alexander in the back, Zoey sat on the other side and requested Luka to go and find Peter and Callie. Luka nodded and walked back into the night; Peter and Callie were standing around the fire waiting for some news.
"Zoey thinks we should go, if that's okay with you two." Luka asked with a slow tired yawn at the end.
The two agreed the night had finished and the three of them walked towards the Mercedes Benz, away from the music and cloud of smoke. When they reached the car Luka opened the door, finding Zoey and Alex practically eating each others face. He took a step back from the door.
"Callie I think you should sit in the back," Peter suggested noticing the heartbreak on Luka's face.
Callie, also noticing his reaction toward the two making out agreed to her boyfriends suggestion. Luka silently thanked the two and walked over to the passenger seat; Alex had sat up and wiped his currently moist lips. Luka opened the door, before her could get in his phone buzzed.
Unknown-- Tick, Tock...
