Clem's POV

"Wake up," a voice said.

Immediately, my eyes shot open and I saw the same girl that told me to not trust Tate on Halloween. It's been three days since Halloween. I was in the middle of taking a nap, and I have no idea what was so important that she had to wake me up.

"Why are you here again?" I questioned the girl. "Who are you?"

"I'm Hayden McClaine. You really have no idea do you?" she laughed.

"What?"

"Do your research, honey."

"What are you talking about?"

"Marcy didn't tell you about this house and what happened, I'm assuming."

"Marcy said that this house was built in 1922 and the past few owners have died here, but she didn't mention any names."

"She didn't tell you about about Tate or me or Violet or anybody."

Why was this Hayden person in my house?

"Hayden, leave her alone," Violet all of a sudden said.

"She should know who Tate really is because Tate is her boyfriend," Hayden said pessimistically.

"Tate isn't my boyfriend. He's just my friend. What are you talking about?" I said in confusion because Tate pretty much told me his entire life story.

"Hayden, stop! Just leave!" Violet yelled.

Hayden shoved Violet and pinned her to the wall.

"Who's gonna stop me? Tate? Oh wait. He's hers now, ins't he?" Hayden screamed while pointing at me and let Violet go.

Violet's eyes became glossy.

"Violet, he's clearly over you now! He likes her! And what do you think will happen to her family? The same thing that happened to yours!" Hayden yelled at Violet.

"Stop it!" Violet yelled back at Hayden.

Violet all of a sudden burst into tears.

"You know what? Tate is gonna kill you and the rest of your family!" Hayden screeched. "Look up the Westfield High Massacre. Then you'll see the truth about him!"

"Go away!" Violet screamed while closing her eyes.

Hayden was gone. I'm surprised my parents didn't wake up from all of the yelling.

"You know Tate?" I asked Violet.

"I know him better than you think," Violet sobbed.

"Were you his girlfriend?"

"Yeah. I was. Just be careful."

Violet just walked out of my room. This house is so weird. Why would Tate kill my family and me? Why would Hayden say that? I didn't want to worry about anything right now, so I just went back to sleep.

Tate's POV

I was about to go see Clem, but then I heard Hayden talking about me. She didn't say what I did, but Clem can't find out. She can't find out that I'm dead. She might do the same thing that Violet did when she finds out. Clem can't die in this house because she deserves a long, happy life, but I'm not so sure if she is happy. After Hayden was gone and so was Violet, I went in to see Clem. She was sleeping and she looked so peaceful and calm. I decided to go climb in bed with her. Hopefully she doesn't remember what Hayden said when she wakes up. I wrapped my arms around her, and she didn't push me away. I can't lose Clem. She's all I have left. Violet doesn't want anymore anyways because she said goodbye to me. I will never see her again and she will never see me again.

"You're all I have," I whispered into Clem's ear.

I heard a knock on the door.

"Clem, I need to talk to you," Clem's mother cried.

Something must have been wrong because Clem's mother was crying. I just disappeared and made myself invisible.

Clem's mother opened the door, and, luckily, didn't see me under the bed. She walked over to Clem and woke her up.

"Mom what's wrong?" Clem asked.

"I don't know how to tell you this, but your father is dead," Clem's mother sobbed.

"What?"

"He died."

I know Clem didn't have the best relationship with her father, but she still started to cry. I wish I could just comfort her right now, but her mom can't know that I'm here.

"How did he die?" Clem questioned her mom.

"I don't think you want to know," Clem's mother replied while sobbing and sniffling.

"I want to know."

"Suicide. He killed himself," Clem mother cried, sobbing even harder.

Clem started to cry harder as well.

"Why would he do that?" Clem wept.

"He explained it all in a suicide note," Clem's mother replied.

"So he just left and killed himself?"

"Yeah. He killed himself in Aberdeen."

"Can I see the suicide note?"

"No. I don't want you to see it."

"Why not?!"

"Because I don't think you should!"

Clem bawled into her mother's shoulder as she hugged her. I wonder why the dad killed himself. I hope Clem doesn't blame herself for this because I'm sure it's not her fault.

Aurora's (Clem's mother) POV

I feel so terrible for what I did. I cheated on my husband. In the suicide note it said that he killed himself because he thought he was worthless. He thought that he was nothing because I cheated on him. That's why he never talked to us and he would only say a few words during dinner. He said that he hated me in that note and I will burn in hell for what I did. Clem doesn't know that I cheated on her father, so she can't read that suicide note. She's gonna have to know though at some point.

(I hope you liked it and thank you so so much for reading! I'm so sorry that I haven't been updating this. I'm so busy with school and dance, but school is almost over. I have a week and a half left of school, so I will be updating a lot once school is over. Also, I'm going to start writing dates on the chapters. Vote and comment please!)
