*DISCONTINUED* Best Furry Friends

Part 2

Jhana-
The ground was moving, shaking everything and knocking things over. All my friends were scattered around. Chloe was injured as Rachel tried to pull her out from under a large boulder. Kaylee was stuck in the cave, a rock crushing her tail, and Nya was nowhere to be seen.

Why is this happening! I thought frantically.

As I tried to move in to help Kaylee I found that the faster I ran the farther she got from me. I was useless in a situation where my friends needed me most.

"WHAT DO I DO!" I yelled out loud. I felt something shaking me, ignoring it, I ran faster than before, scared for my friends life, finally getting closer.

Then I woke up, back in the cave, nothing out of place. Kaylee was trying frantically to wake me up, when she saw I was awake she stopped and said "You screamed out like you were terrified and it looked like you were trying to run."

I got up,"I need some fresh air." I said bluntly.

"What happened?!" Kaylee asked.

"I don't want to talk about it"

Kaylee looked at me, knowing I wouldn't talk unless I wanted to. "Fine, but you are going to tell me in the morning." She stated.

I knew that that was the only way for her to stop bugging me, at least for now. I walked out of the cave and sat down, looking at the stars.
~flashback~
I was a young cub, barely even 6 months old, I had a dream just like this one. Only it was about my mother's death.

When I woke up from the horrid dream I told my mother not to go outside today, or she would get shot by a hunter. She ignored my warnings, and went out anyway...that was the last time I saw her.
~end flashback~

As I remembered that day a single tear streaked down my face. You left to soon. I thought.

It can't be a coincidence that my mother died after I had the dream of her dying. So what if this dream comes true? What if my friends are in trouble and I can't help them?

Then I did something I hadn't done in a long time, I began to talk to my mother. "Mother, please don't let this dream come true, I can't bare the very idea that I can't help my friends, but if they were to die because of it...I don't know what I'd do. Please, if your listening, help me." I whispered.

I then went inside the cave and tried to sleep, but I couldn't, not after that dream.
~time skip~
I ended up staying awake all night, thinking about the dream. When it was finally day I walked outside and stretched. The zoo would open soon and people would be walking around, nothing like in my dream where there were no people.

But on Sunday the zoo is closed. I thought. There won't be any people.

This is bad, very bad. If this dream comes true...no, don't think about it. It was probably just a bad dream, no need to worry everyone about something that may or may not happen.

I looked around, the zoo people will be here with breakfast soon, then the people will show up.

No earthquake, no problem. It's all going to be just fine.

I hope.

As the day went on everything was normal, no earthquakes, no damage, completely normal.

Yet I keep waiting for the earthquake to hit, to jump in and ruin everything. Yet it never came. By the end of the day I was extremely tired from lack of sleep. When the people began leaving I didn't even eat dinner, I just went straight to sleep.
~time skip~
When I woke up it was late at night, I went to eat my untouched dinner, I was starving. As I ate I noticed that Chloe was awake staring at the sky. I walked over to her enclosure for it was right next to mine.

"Hey Chloe, why are you up so late?" I asked

"Couldn't sleep." She said, still looking at the stars.

"Okay, don't stay up to much longer, you need your energy."

"I won't, don't worry."

"Okay, see you in the morning. Bye." I said

"Good night" she said back, still looking up.

"What are you looking for?" I asked, curious.

She looked down for the first time since I saw her that night. "I am looking for a lost dream." She said then she looked back up.

Confused I went back to my cave. I pondered what Chloe had said, until sleep over came me, and I fell into a deep, dreamless, sleep.

So that was the 2nd part, how did you like it! I actually cried a little as I wrote this chapter, but I figured that something tragic had to happen so that Jhana would have a reason not to think about the dream.

Anyway, what do you think Chloe meant? Ohh mystery... ANYWAYS, hope you liked it and please vote and comment ideas because I honestly don't think I could have written this chapter without some ideas from her. THANK BUDDY!;)
