"What?" I said confused. "How are we gonna 'hunt' if I'm on crutches." I said putting up quote blocks when I said hunt.

Lecey shook her head, "I thought you would've felt it by now. As long as your near us, any of you injuries heal pretty fast. Try walking on it now." Lecey said with a proud smile.

I squinted at her in disbelief I guess I did feel like there was less pressure in my leg and ankle.

I lowered myself as I still supported myself with the crutches. I let myself put weight on my cast slowly as I was afraid I would hurt myself.

I didn't feel anything at all.

"Holy crap! Your right, it feels completely fine! How does that happen?" I asked in amazement.

"We can talk about that later, we gotta get going." Rachel said.

"I assume we are gonna be running?" I asked.

The three nodded and I got confused again.

"How is this thing gonna come off?" I said pointing to the cast on my ankle.

The three looked around figuring out what to do but then I saw Noah step forward and was about a few inches away from me.

"He says that he can bite it off." Lizzie said.

"Bite it off?! Are you crazy? He is probably gonna bite off my foot too!" I said now scared.

"Dude, it's still Noah you know, he gonna try his best not to hurt you. He'll take it easy." Rachel said.

"Mmmm... Ok..." I said with a concerned look.

Slowly Noah lunged forward and I went ahead and lifted my leg a little bit to reach his height. He opened his jaws to meet the cast. I could hear his teeth sliding and scraping against the cast.

Then in one move he clenched his teeth and I heard a big crack sound and saw the cast literally break in half.

I didn't feel any pain so I knew he didn't bite my leg. He stepped backwards to show that he was done. Now we were left with a half broken cast.

"See told you nothing would've happened." Lecey said as she came towards me.

"I'll take the rest off now..." Lecey said as she grabbed the cast and began pulling it apart until it snapped again.

Instantly the cast was broken and my foot was now in sight with lots of white powder like material.

I bent down still holding my leg up to reach it so I could wipe the dust off.

"You realize you don't need the crutches, right?" Rachel said.

I thought to myself thinking about how they said that my injuries would heal faster and how I didn't have any pain.

"Oh yea... Haha I forgot." I said with a light chuckle.

I nervously lifted my left arm up and let the left arm crutch fall to the ground. And then I did so with the right arm crutch.

My left leg had my normal blue and green Nike Flyknit shoe, but my right leg was just naked with dust.

I let the ground feel my foot as I was barefoot. Luckily I didn't step on a rock and cut myself like an experience I had when I was younger.
