The Science Project

Lecey's P.O.V

I was walking to our 7th period science class just tempted to finally talk to all my friends.

Me, Rachel, Lizzie, Kyle, and Noah all have the same 7th period science class so it's good to end the day off like this.

I was the first person to walk in the class since my math class is literally right around the corner of this science class.

And to my surprise all the desks were moved in groups of 4.

I was happy and sad. Happy because we originally sat in pairs of two. I sat with Rachel, Noah sat alone with another friend of his. And Kyle sat with Lizzie up front.

And I was sad because someone was gonna end up being lonely since there is five of us and only four per group. I think this has something to do with that science project I heard a few people talking about.

Within seconds everyone started pouring in and everyone either staying calm waiting for instructions or screaming sarcastically, "WE GOT NEW DESKS!? OH NO!!!"

After some time all my friends came in and we went ahead and lined ourselves against the wall.

I looked at the board and read off a message.

Please wait for the bell to ring as I will give you assigned seats that will go accordingly to your science group project.

We all started talking about things and what was going to happen.

"Oh no! I hope we aren't' separated!" Rachel said.

"No, doesn't the teacher like love you guys? Maybe she gave us mercy and put us together!" Kyle said.

"True because we actually don't talk unlike you two!" Rachel said pointing to me and Lizzie.

"Hey if you and Noah were together, I betcha you guys would get detention every day" Kyle said ending with a chuckle.

Mrs. Hunt our science teacher came to the front of the class and went ahead and got everyone's attention with a loud cough to the throat.

"Okay the moment of truth guyz!" I said in hopes of getting good spots.

"Alright so I see everyone is panicking and bewildered as to where they will sit now. All I have to say is not to worry. I'm a nice teacher so I tried my best to sit people to the good friends and who I think are your buddies. So here is the seating arrangement." She said as she went to the Elmo projector thing.

When she said that she would put people to their friends the entire room filled with sighs and "Thank God".

She put the piece of paper she was holding under the projector and everyone started desperately searching for their names and people sitting around them.

I looked to see that our names appeared in a group in the far back of the room.

"Ah yes! Wait who is missing?" I said while glancing back to see who isn't at our group.

"No!!!!! It's me! Why me?!" Noah said jokingly yet serious.

"Bruh, we'll hold on." Kyle said as he paused looking like he was thinking of something.
